Autofilled Players Stealing Others Roles (Griefing)

I was just in a game earlier where a player got autofilled to support, and instead of supporting, they stole my mid role that I rightfully was assigned! I stood my ground and went mid anyway, because I am not about to be bullied off my role. I got autofilled to support just the game before and didn't even once complain, because that is how it works. But to then get bullied off my role by some clown was unacceptable. I reported them for griefing, and in the little room for a report I attempted to explain what happened.

I just want to make sure that Riot will do everything they can to identify these trolls and ban them for it.

I know it is hard to identify them because it might look like just a role swap in the system, but hopefully reports are enough. I can handle all the toxicity in the in-game chat because I can mute or just ignore, but intent trolling just to be an asshole is something I will not stand for. And may be the reason I leave this game entirely. If you want to save people like me from giving up on your game, please please please be proactive on banning trolls!

This is why people need to start actually playing. Dodging only let's then get away. And more often than not they won't commit to trolling/intentionally feeding as they expect someone to dodge. But if you play it out they'll either play as normal or at the very least end the game early.

But people need to report these people. Riot has everything in the system to check. Obviously if you guys were to lane swap you would have said something in chat. Let alone its clear they would say a bunch of stuff in chat in general which would work against them.

It sucks having to take a lost because of one person, but they aren't going to get caught if people don't report them!

What do you think is a better solution? Getting rid of auto-fill and increasing queue times, or punishing people for not wanting to deal with auto-fill.

you really don't need to type an essay in the report box.

Riot has access to the pre-game chat, the roles assigned, the gameplay videos. Just need to type in the box "role stealing" and it'll be fine.

Role stealing are typically manually reviewed / banned. So it'll take some time before they get punished.
