i left an aram in the champion select screen and got 14 minutes penalty this is my first penalty on this account but why is it so long? imagine trying out this game, leaving for some reason (before the game starts so no one is hurt in any way) and then get 14 minutes of waiting. not cool rito
Leaving in ARAM gives higher penalties because you should not dodge save for emergencies. And if you're having an emergency, you probably aren't playing in the next 15 minutes.

If I rolled a fiddle or zyra and you dodged and I get randomed into udyr next champ select, it would hurt my feelings a little....
That's not what leaverbuster is. That's a dodge timer. Leaverbuster you get from leaving games.
Thats just how it is for ARAM. They REEEEEEEALLY dont want people making a habit of queue dodging. It already happens a lot and Im guessing people just switch accounts....
So many people dodge arams because they dont like the champs they got. It ruins the integrity of the system, and thus punishments are more severe. Seriously, people go through lobby after lobby just tryingto play a game because of queue dodgers. Dont do it.
