Why am I chat restricted?

a few games ago, I tried double jungle as a new idea, I got interested in the idea of "river shen" even though it's outdated, then when the game started, I took the enemy camps and our jungle got mad for stealing "his" camps. Now, they were a whole team from the same clan, and everyone flamed and harrassed me and told me to "kys" or "IDIOT, DUMBASS BRAiN" and "SHITTY PERSONALITY", and some other things that hit me deep. I just admitted that i'm dumb and an idiot, and after that I got chat restricted. Why? They flamed me for having a new idea, and trying it in blind pick. I was reported for verbal abuse and inting, even though I was trying my best to make it work, and hardly ever chat.

Honestly don't think you deserve the restriction. I think most of what flagged you by the bot was you quoting their comments. Probably thought you were insulting them instead of quoting their insults to show their hypocrisy. You didn't verbally abuse anyone or anything close to that in my opinion. Hopefully you can submit a ticket and get this fixed.

It is possible that if someone reported you, there was still a minor consequence (chat restricted). From personal experience, it is best to ignore flamers, because they will try to bring you down with them.

Apart from the chat log, when you do something like river Shen, you should communicate that you're doing so to your team and make sure they're ok with it before you do so. Going that far off meta when your team doesn't want you to may result in a ban for trolling.
