Why do some people instantly become dicks when their champ is banned?

Long story short, I'm trying ranked to see where I land this season (maybe get to gold this time but unlikely), got into champ select, one guy hovered yasuo, enemy banned him, guy stole our jg's nunu, basically said because he could. Knew instantly that he was going to troll so I dodged. I'd rather take a 5 minute penalty and play an AI game than play a 20-30 minute slaughter with an ass on our team.

It's just a petty move to just dick over someone on your own team, let alone your whole team, all because your champ got banned. Seriously, it's childish. Do you not have any other champs that you can fall back on? No champ pool? You're just a one trick and when you don't get to play or your champ, neither do your teammates? I sometimes have my champs banned from me, but I at least have backups. I will never understand this.

Well, LoL community just overall praises toxic players. Literally, people who were infamous have a decent amount of followers and to top it off, who is the biggest streamer in LoL atm? Tyler1... It's funny how LoL bans you for typing anything negative but, when streamers talk shit about their teammates, they receive no punishment EVEN when it prompts viewers to go to the victim's stream and throw insults. I guess they would do anything to not die out. The community, in general, is just toxic, more immature kids play. Back in S3, people used to gift each other skins and also the overall vibe I got was WAY better than what I get now.

Selfishness.

There's 140+ champions. The only reason you'd have to get so pissed off over one of them is selfish reasons. There's simply no nonselfish reason for that at all.
