Enemy missing pings and how exactly bans work?

I am a pretty casual player, and i must admit, i am not good at all at this game, i lose most of my PvP games. I am trying to get better, reading guides, practicing etc. I still love it, my favorite moba.

But very often when i misplay i got tons of "enemy missing" pings on my character's body :) I know, this ping is not used for it's purpose anymore, it's more like "WTF ping". So i am flamed by others time after time, i never respond, just mute them and continue playing.

And i am curious what if they eventually just report me for playing bad. They will pick intentional feeding and report me, will i get perma-banned for this? Will i be warned before or something? Any explanation later why i was banned? Reading all the post here i am legit scared to play this game and spend money on it.

P.S. Also it probably would be wise to change the question mark of this ping to something else so it will not be used for WTF ping anymore. What do you think?
