fix surrender vote
I was just trapped in a game for much longer than necessary, because ONE person didn't want to surrender, and i've run into the issue before. How is 4 to 1 not unanimous?

You want my honest advice here? Take a break. If you're 'trapped' in a game that hasn't even made it to 20 minutes and the fact that not everyone wanted to surrender is this upsetting, then you're playing on tilt. I don't know if this is your main account, but you're level 24. If you take this attitude into ranked, you won't climb. There wasn't always an early surrender, it's a good feature to have if all 5 people agree. If not, wait until after 20 and try again.
Unanimous - (of two or more people) fully in agreement.
- (of an opinion, decision, or vote) held or carried by everyone involved.
Just an FYI, perhaps change your phrasing to, "Why does it need to be unanimous."
You were saying you were trapped, could it be that if you put your effort into trying to win after the surrender votes failed that you'd of obtained victory?

here is an idea, if the surrender vote is 4-1 wait until 20 minute mark to surrender.
