When did calling someone a f*ggot become an acceptable form of banter?

Got called a f*ggot on multiple occasions earlier and there still has not been a punishment issued to the person.

When did this become acceptable?

How do you know?

How do you know the person hasn't been punished? Why does everyone think that Riot keeps everyone that reports someone in the loop? You report, Riot takes over, you move on. If you were the LAST person to report someone before they get punished, you receive a notification. That's it.

It's aggressively punished, as you can see by many of the complaint threads in this forum section.

However, the system is not perfect, for whatever reason. It's possible that some people abusing chat in your games got away with it. Dunno what to tell you, except that karma will catch up with them eventually if they keep talking like that.

I'm locking this thread because it has devolved into "I don't mind being called [insert slur here]."

Simply put, the argument that something shouldn't be considered a problem because it's not a problem for you is nothing more than a request to permit harassment and abuse. Let's try to have better sympathy and understanding for others.

It became unacceptable actually. It was acceptable in the 90s when I was growing up. Nowadays, you "hate" gay people, if you say that word. Fucked up world.
