I understand and appreciate the rule on pejorative language, but I've also seen what looks like a large increase in simple swearing being removed from the boards by the moderation team. Is this just "bonus removal" when other, more offensive terms are used in threads, or is this becoming a common practice now?
I have never seen language be grounds for removal unless used in a harassing manner.
E.g. "Fuck you and your shitty ass dumb as hell opinion."

really I think allowing swearing on here is for the best. let players vent about their shitty games here, so they don't take it out on their future teammates.

I got a post from the boards removed and was banned from posting for a week for saying someone was a sjw.
and I wasn't even talking to them I was replying to someone else about a 3rd person
before that I was banned for 1 day for calling someone a liar. but they were lying so I don't really know what else to call it.

I strongly doubt that simple swearing gets removed. Case in point:

I believe that if the swear is linked to harassment like "fucking N word" then both fuck and the N word will be removed but fuck or shit by themselves won't get moderated out because Riot has said they don't punish for swears alone. The swears have to be intertwined with other punishable behavior.
People may delete their own swears or replace them on their own because they're under the mistaken impression that it's going to get them punished?
