Situations that low elo players need to understand.

Reason i want to spend my time and post this is because as a silver 1 player in normals and some ranked games i get teamed up with players from silver 4 to gold, with in these 3 elos besides they are the most abusive players in the game there are things they fail to realize in which is making them or others lose games or just lose interest in playing the game forcing them to close the game after the match or rage quit.

First thing i want to get out of the way is. *Players aren't perfect regardless of elo rankings. Some players are only good strictly at their own list of champions/ roles and even some off meta picks that actually work. You can see im not a perfect player and i try to take it easy in this game to avoid stress. Im pretty good at support, top, jungle but if you force me to mid and adc im gonna confess that im not very good. (I dont care what elo or rank or how many pentakills you have got or helped others get. we have all made mistakes in each role at least once.)

*In any game mode you should remain confident but be prepared that you will lose the match. I get it nobody likes losing but you should never get angry over it you will feel the tilt hammer hit you if you start getting angry. If you can't handle the game and your getting heated up then you should take a break

*People don't realize the blue/green circle on each ally champion icon are ultimate timers. I'm surprised at how many people miss this simple feature but at the same time its I have to say that Riot hasn't given a mainstream explanation of the ultimate timer.

*The green and blue/red/yellow bars indicate mana/energy/courage/rage/heat I've seen junglers who gank their ally's lane who has low hp and no mana but they blindly gank that lane just to help only to waste their time. This also goes for other support and adc players, please do the math on your spells and guess the mana cost on your allies before you make a play.

*Top laners who do not use wards, get camped alot, dont seem to understand the advantage his/her allies have if the jungler n top go 1v2. Top laners I understand you want to cs in peace and win alone but hate to break it to you but this is a team game but there are benefits of you going 1v2.

  1. you get more exp than the duo top laners and if you can survive top lane you have a strong change of winning an engage later on.
  2. the enemy will get half the exp they earn and they will lose money and there is a chance that one of them could be flaming the other.
  3. Your allies are aware that your against a 1v2 jungler and top laner. this doesn't mean the end of the world for you. your jungler, bot lane or mid can get dragon buff and team gold FOR FREE. Also your allies will become more confident in pushing with no risk of getting ganked by the enemy jungler.

*People have bad excuses to blame a support or jungler. Hate to break it to you Mid/ADC/Top but all junglers and supports aren't gods gift to a 100% win in just 3 minutes into the game. Not only do you need to look at your situation but you need to take into account of your partners hp/mana and cooldowns.

If you have a thresh, blitzcrank, Janna, Morgana or braum on your team, their hooks, shields, barriers have "cooldowns" ranging from 10 seconds to 20 seconds. Though i need to point out that not many people ping the cooldowns of their spells besides just their ultimates. These basic abilities can still be important to know if they are on CD.

Example of multiple games i had.

  1. I was adc one game as twitch pre patch 6.22 we lost a 2v2 and my janna had 200 mana. thats good for a trade but as the fight went on the fight went to 2v3 because of spooky nocturne (woooooo spooky XD) I was able to kill the support who was already low, the enemy ezreal did his two blinks, healed and escaped but i got finished off by nocturne. my poor lovely support had no mana, these situations do happen and my janna was worried i might just complain in chat that i died so i told her "Dont worry you did good, it was nobody's fault, you was out of mana and you was on low hp and glad you got away in time" i also typed in happy faces, i keep a good behavior because i dont want this person to feel demoralized over a game. We did win the game by pure luck it was so close and me and this janna became LoL friends and we do silly troll builds in some of our normals just for fun.

  2. I was support thresh this was a recent match btw, me and my adc was kicking butt i got more fed than my adc early game because there were some points my caitlyn nearly died so i had to take the kill to prevent her from dying but this isn't main thing here.

main thing here is my ally jungler master yi was super toxic, didn't fully pay attention to ultimate timers, he ignored my warnings of enemy jungler (I saw vi's force punch in the fog of war) and he wasn't aware that champions have cooldowns.

During one of the bot lane 2v2 fights me and my caitlyn had i used my lantern on her to save her life and she took it <3 <3 <3 Caitlyn <3 <3 <3 but my lantern is on cooldown for 20 seconds. My jungler came a few seconds too late for the fight we was doing our recalls he had about over 500 hp with red buff against a full hp vi and enemy talon was with vi to. I had to ping my yi to reconsider his engage and i pinged my lantern cooldown. At the time I was powerless to save him at that point, he died then blamed me for not having my lantern out for him. He was warned about this but still the anger got the best of him.

"Anger. Gives motivation without purpose."

Now listen this isn't one of those posts saying "Oh i deserve Cabbage 10 elo but my beetroot allies keep holding me back" but this is something that players need to understand and not take their frustration out on others.

I also have to say that Riot has done a pretty bad job with the ping system there are still some information that has no ping information like pinging ally icons above the map to show their countdowns on their ultimates more accurately.

There is also the problem of no ping system to quickly warn an ally that an enemy has used his/her/it's ultimate. (but do not show the timer at all for the enemy) You can still ping an enemy's summoner spell but it doesn't mention that its down but its pretty clear that people who read that already know its on cd.

There is also a lack of pinging for Dismounted Kled's ultimate and Mini Gnar's ultimate cooldown ping its clear that they cant use their ultimates unless they have Skaarl or gone mega but its still important for their allies to know about their ultimate cooldowns.

There are also no pings for Zac and Volibear passive so with all of these missed pings we have to stop for a few seconds in chat and type in that a champion has used their ultimate or their passive revive or whatever.

I know that Riot isn't perfect and sometimes some of their features are a bit behind the times compared to Dota2 and Smite but they do have a way better ping system which makes chat system pointless.

I've found players in high silver to gold who are pretty good at their own roles even down to cooperation, pings and understanding situations of allies (though that is hard to believe for some.

I wish you all good luck in season 7 :D, I hope this information helps you in being more aware with your team and being less toxic.

Funny for me is that listening to super mario world just lifts all the stress off me https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgUmFPnkoHU You should also try to find something that can make you happy because i know alot of players are pretty salty and need something to make them laugh so if you can find that one thing that can keep you happy then stick with it.

Again good luck guys.

Peace out.

Silver and bronze is low elo...

I hate to be that guy, but if a higher ranked player is giving you advice on what to do, chances are they might know what they're talking about. Even if they're being a complete dick, try to put aside your ego for the moment, and consider that maybe they are right, even if it means reporting them afterwards.

I've seen so many games lost, when queued up with my Plat friend, because some Silver player honestly believes their understanding of the game is totally on point, and their constant failing in no way could be improved by anyone other than themselves. Sort of like, "Hey, don't engage right this second", and this belief that no, we can do it because they know what the outcome will be.

"Your allies are aware that your against a 1v2 jungler and top laner." No they aren't aware, low elo don't look at map. " this doesn't mean the end of the world for you. your jungler, bot lane or mid can get dragon buff and team gold FOR FREE. Also your allies will become more confident in pushing with no risk of getting ganked by the enemy jungler." Or just you know, farm 3 more creeps in 10 minutes.

The one thing that really gets me tilted is these High elo players who will spend the entire game reminding the rest of the team just how high they are. They will constantly bring up they are "gold/plat" or whatever, and feel BECAUSE of said tier, its thier privilage to constantly -remind- the rest of the team just how noob/trash/garbage they are...like...every 5 seconds. Every little mistake, they will pounce "Omg look at this trash bronze" "dude you are garbage tier" "Stfu I am gold, noob"

Just because you are high tier, doesnt mean you get to sit on a high horse and spit on everyone you see as "beneath you" If anything I think it is the duty of High tier players to inform (politely) how players can improve. If you see someone having a bad time or think thier build is "trash" A) ask what thier intention is with the item (maybe they have a specific strategy for an item) B) Suggest alternatives, things that might get better results C) DO NOT INSULT/DEGRADE them because of thier build. At least be polite, if they want to climb they may take it into consideration. The worst thing you can do is tell someone how completely garbage thier build is. Because then its unlikely they will listen to you for ANY reason. (Kind of like the teammate will insult, degrade, flame, and put down thier teammates. Then in the same breath demand you "get over here and help, noob). Please tell me how willing you would be to help someone who just told you how you are the scum under thier shoe?

Ya the cooldown thing sticks out to me. If someone misses a crucial ability (like a hook/pull) just wait a little bit before you go in. Too many times I miss a fight changing ability and my adc still goes in for a poke, without realizing that it's the ideal time for the opponent to engage. Back up when an important ability is missed, and wait for it to come back because without it, you will probably lose the engage.
