Perma banned for scripting...

Never scripted in my life... I have no idea why I was banned as I never use any sort of 3rd party software when playing league. I created a support ticket but wanted to find out if Riot looks into false bans, and also if anyone else has ever experienced the same thing. Thanks.

If the ban is indeed false, they'll revert it. However it's very rare they get a false positive for scripting.

Not much people on the boards can do about this. Not only do we not have any power to revert the ban but people on the boards don't have the same information that Riot have when they make such decisions.

Your best bet is to contact support. Also look through your match history and see if there are any games that you don't remember doing. If someone else logged onto you account without permission and used scripts you'd be able to argue against the ban. But that would only be possible if Riot agrees that someone else used your account (they'll have location information that will corroborate your claim).

Scripting bans go out in waves to make it harder for scripters to figure out what got them caught.

If you truly are a false positive you likely just fell through the cracks, happens every wave.

If you bought the account it was likely levelled using scripts.

Have you played this account, always? Like.. Have you boosted or bought the account? Because a lot of the Lux and Xerath games are vastly better than any others.. Two champions that benefit heavily from scripting. They are clear outliers in your match history.

Not saying you scripted, but pointing out how this could look. Without seeing the games I cannot say but there is a clear difference between those types of games and others.

Actually, upon further review even further back, there is a consistent trend of going like 17/0 or 10/0 with certain champions and then jumping to others and going 0/10, as if you are win trading or staying in a specific rank, etc. This can easily trigger a review, especially if reported, as well.
