If You Report Frequently Does Riot Ignore Your Reports?

Hi,

I've been playing off and on for a few years and every time I do I come back worse than I was when I left, obviously. This means I usually end up around the silver ranks to start off and I have to climb my way back up. Now I don't know how it is for the upper tier ranks, but in silver we have some definite fuck-heads. We have people who intentionally feed on purpose if they don't get the role they desire, people who rage non-stop because the team wouldn't back up their 1v5 dragon steal attempt when the person is an underleveled adc and there's a 15 minion wave about to crash into our tier 2 bot lane tower, and people who refuse to communicate with the team at all and just say, "I'm an adc, but that Yasuo is only 2 levels higher but he's on a 7 kill streak so I'm gonna go solo him to claim that shut down gold real quick." They never help out just constantly engage on their own and then flame. I usually report these people, and I was wondering if I've reported people so often that Riot ignores me when I report.

Also, I don't know if this proves anything, but I have the green friendly banner for being nice to teammates. I like to try to be nice and make witty/nerdy jokes to raise morale and get the team to have fun and play loose, but some people just get on here to ruin people's day.

Thanks

There's an automatic system that will validate your reports. If you frequently report people falsely, your reports will be worth less, but if you always report correctly, your reports should be fine.

Reporting frequently doesn't affect the quality of your reports as far as I know. As long as you're reporting responsibly then your report weight will never go down (again, as far as I know) and of course if you're reporting irresponsibly then your report weight will never go up and can in fact lead to you getting banned for false reporting constantly as well.

Only report people who are really obviously trying to lose you the game (throwing it doesn't count) and those who flame really hard, especially in all chat. One or two lines of negativity shouldn't really count, unless it's racism/death wish level. I follow these rules and in the last 2 weeks I got two notifications that someone got punished by my reports.
