Has anyone heard of a non-streamer/contentcreator account being un-permabanned?

Has anyone ever heard of such a thing happening. Like if the player proved that they reformed by playing on another account and receiving little to no reports over a long time period. Just want to know if there's any hope for me.

To my knowledge, nothing like this has happened (unless said player was banned due to a mistake in the system, which is already incredibly rare).

For Tyler1, none of his old permabanned accounts were released. Those are still permanently gone, and all the content on them. All that was lifted was the ID ban on Tyler1, which means that he is allowed to play (moreso stream) League of Legends and not be banned on sight.

the only times ive seen it reverted is when it was placed in error originally

if the ban was justified, that account is gone. You can prove your reformation on a new account

Theres a couple of people on these boards whom have gotten their permaban offenses lowered to 14-day bans.

Though I think it really depends on the behavioral history of the player.

There was once. An experiment of sorts, that I believe was deemed an overall failure.

I didn't really follow it too much, but Riot chose a small number of people who were given a permanent ban quite some time ago access to their accounts, on the grounds that if they received any disciplinary action thereafter, they'd be re-banned. I know one guy was re-banned relatively quickly after that, and I know their experiment overall is largely avoided as a topic right now, so I'm assuming that it ended with disfavorable results.

Yes. The unban experiment. And t1 old ac ounts did not get unbanned. So never happened to streamers 2.

They ran an experiment like a year ago ish and unbanned some permad accounts but the deadline to get in that has long since passed.

Occasionally you'll see someone get unperma'd if their last strike was very mild and they send a ticket in

And fewer still where the system completely derps and bans people who didn't deserve it at all

I have never ever seen a case where a new account was used as 'proof' of being reformed and the original account was unbanned once. I believe they did that at some point a very, very long time ago. That was even before I was playing which was the beginning of season 3
