Becoming extremely tilted and requesting assistance from the Community or from Riot.

Well, as I have noticed physically and mentally is that I am constantly getting "tilted" and extremely angered. In real life socially I am not a talkative person and it takes a lot of 'bullshit' to get me pissed off however, when I start to play League something happens and I get so angered so quickly. A few examples of this is, I do get toxic with my teammates, I do try to mitigate that as much as possible. I leave games cause I can not take it.

I am not going to say that it is always my teammates faults that I lose game and that I am god and I do not make mistakes and it is always my teammates making me fall behind and getting me killed ext. But, there are a lot of the times that, my team does make a few mistakes, sometimes they might cause me to die.

I have recorded a few games Voice only #crappy computer. A few things that would usually set me off would be my teammates not listening to me, or them not following up exactly how I wanted them too, but I know that they can not always do that.

I have went to a Psychiatrist, (Not specifically for anger, mainly other personal problems like Divorce/bullying ext ext). But I have told my Psychiatrist that I do usually get pissed off at this game, she simply said "Do not play it". Which then what do I play? I love the game, it has a great aspect to it but I can not stop getting so pissed off and "tilted".

So I decided to try to turn to the Community for assistance and "guidance" on this issue, I do not want to keep flaming my teammates, and getting so tilted because that is what makes you miss play and lose games.

Any tips rather then " just breath ". Before I go summoner 14 summoner 14 summoner 14 summoner 14

So, this is going to be extremely blunt.

You're not going to be pro. Statistically, it's next to impossible. You will not make money on League, you will not have your livelihood based around League, and you certainly won't make League your career.

I mean it - statistically it's not going to happen. You'd be better off just buying lottery tickets because they don't take virtually any time to purchase and check - whereas League takes a bunch of time.

Now that we've gotten that out of the way, if we're never going to be pro, if we're never going to make money off this game, what's the only other reason we'd be playing it? To pass time, relax, and have fun. If you're so focused on the W that you forget to have fun, that's when you open yourself up to tilt. I recently (this evening) got out of a 45 minute plus game where we were getting hammered on and off the entire game. We lost the game. I played absolutely garbage during that game. But I didn't let it affect me - you're going to win some games, you're going to lose some games. You're going to accidentally hit W instead of E. You're going to miss the CS. You're going to miss 3 CS in a row and wonder if your eyes are still plugged into your brain. Things will happen.

It takes effort, but you gotta learn to just shrug off the losses - be they a large loss like an entire game/promotional series, or the loss of a trade, a few CS, a "stolen" kill, they got away with 2 health left, whatever. Whatever it is, you're playing League to have fun - and if you're not having fun, then you need to either reevaluate your priorities here, or I encourage you to find a game you do have fun with. I hate seeing players leave League. I wish League was a fun game for everyone. But some people just legitimately do not enjoy spending 40+ minutes in a game that, after it's over, they didn't enjoy. And if you're one of those people, I'm sorry but maybe it is best if you find another game to put your time into - one that you can truly have fun with.

Best advice I can think of is take breaks from League when you start getting tilted. But preferably not during a match at least.

Finding other games you can play and really enjoy work as well, or playing games you already have instead and enjoy. Other ideas would be watching movies, reading books, or whatever works for you. Hell, even a good nap could be good.

Personally I enjoy Monster Hunter World a TON, since it came out I put nearly 400 hours into it on a single Hunter file, but even I need breaks from it occasionally. Not because I stop enjoying it, far from it, I just burn myself out from going on hunts for hours on end during the weekends. But I always come back because I still enjoy it, and playing with friends just makes it way more fun honestly and can make for some hilarious moments.

When you reach the pinnacle of your current skill level (example, my skill level is silver3, and won't go up unless I learn some new tricks or change a few things in the way I play), you will have 50% Wins and 50% losses.

Those wins and losses can be caused by you, or can be caused by your team mates. It's just part of match making. Accept that you will be getting losses and it'll make you feel alot better.

One of the best things that ever happened to me regarding League and my attitude toward it was my computer dying. I wasn't able to afford a replacement for several months.

The extended break was really good for my mental health. And when I was finally able to play again, my love for the game and my attitude had drastically changed. I was no longer playing bc I was addicted. No longer tilting over every little thing that didn't go my way. I was able to relax and have fun with the game again.

My best advice is uninstall the game. Try to forget about it for six months. Enjoy streams or other parts of the community experience without actually playing. Let yourself leave the stress behind.

Good luck with that.

Riot knows that for most players, every single game in Solo Q has the losing side raging at each other and insulting each other and reporting whoever they decide to blame (usually jg or support).

They don't care.

They'll send you a brush-off form letter that doesn't address the problem, then go back to counting the money they make selling RP to the largest community of cyberbullies on the internet.
