Punishment of Intentionally Feeding vs Toxic Chat
TL;DR: My main point: If riot actually punished intentional feeders/throwers there would be less toxic chat. Guarantee.
I got chat banned for 10 games and demoted to honor lvl 1 for calling an intentional feeder a bad person and asking for reports on him. That was after 3 games in a row where someone in my team gave up and ragequit under 20 minutes in. These were my chat logs https://i.imgur.com/RPsMZ8N.png
This happened almost a month ago and i've learned not to ask for reports or call anyone bad. But it's really hard. Hear me out. I'm currently honor 1-1
I am challenger on EUNE. I played 7 games today and 85% of them were garbage. Absolute garbage.
I only won my first game, and the next 6 had at least 1 intentional feeder in the game. It's very hard to play so much yet every game is worse than the previous one. I keep queueing hoping to see a good game yet my thirst cannot be quenched. Someone has to ruin the game because he has given up or because he doesn't like a teammate of his or because he got autofilled and refuses to dodge.
Riot only punishes people who type and not people who ruin games.
In my opinion, in ranked games, if someone intentionally feeds ONCE they need to be permabanned no questions asked. It takes a real shitty human being to intentionally ruin a game in RANKED QUEUE so i'd rather not let him play the game at all.
Riot is not looking into the root and cause of the problem. People are having bad games and shitty days because of intentional feeders and trolls. I have reported people who intentionally feed both on the client and via support tickets yet none (im keeping track) are banned and keep playing like nothing happened.
There is so much benefit of the doubt given to people who build mejais on rengar, for people who spam control wards in base wasting their gold, for people typing in all chat telling the enemy team our teammates locations and how to win the fastest way while sitting in base... (All of these true stories from today, except the rengar one which was 2 weeks ago).
Yet when someone types "report x" "hes just bad" in a single game he gets instantly punished.
Riot support tells me that they're "investigating" the player and cannot share information due to privacy reasons. But all i see is "Thanks for the report, we're ignoring it". Blatant cases of intentionally feeding, evidence provided in the ticket, and all they say it that they will investigate. And I then meet the same player next day where he plays the game perfectly fine.
With all the intentional feeders ruining games so often no wonder people get angry and say such mean things like "hes just bad". Just punish the actual toxic players and there wont be a reaction.
Why would a person intentionally ruining a game to get a reaction go unpunished yet the guy who wants to solve the problem by asking for reports is on his way to lose his ranked rewards?
