Since I can't reply to riot themselves

I made a board post onto this thread the other day regarding the toxic behavior I encountered with a game I played with a player using the champion Jayce.

I included the guy's name into the post, which resulted in riots removal of my post.

Riot, your response to me was to get action taken by putting a report in to take correction action against this player.

Your tribunal system has been down for matience for what seems like two weeks now. How do you expect me to properly report this player if there's no correct avenue to do so?

I expect action to be taken upon this player, it's a threat to people's actual livelyhood to continue a player like him to tell people they're whores, that the world would be better off without them, without even provoking the guy. This is absolutely beyond unacceptable that riot allows this, and throws my post to the wind simply because his name was included.

TAKE ACIPN RIOT OR OPEN YOUR TRIBUNAL SO THAT I CAN TAKE PROPER ACTION AGAINST THIS PLAYER. Like I said in my previous post, if I had access to this persons information I could be taking legal action against him for the things he said to me and if he said it to me without provoking him I could only imagine what happens when people dignify him with a response.

Take a break from your client and take a look at your reports riot. The way this community has been these past months is disgusting.

The automated Tribunal (in-game report system) is not down for maintenance. What you're referring to is the old Player-based Tribunal system that is not currently active.

You can report people in-game as usual and they will be dealt with accordingly.

A) Reports still work, Tribunal being down for maintenance (which it has been for a loooong time) just means that the community-driven Tribunal is not active. It has since then been replaced with a new (mostly automated) system.

B) If you ever feel the need to get Riot to see something specific (usually death threats, cheaters, etc.) it's best to open a support ticket. Top left corner, rightmost button.

C) It's highly unlikely that Riot ever acts against a named player from a forum post, simply because it would set a precedent. Furthermore, the moderators are not really Rioters. They have no power to ban players ingame, they merely moderate the forums as per Riot's rules.

Now that you have clearly listed your expectations Riot will now reinstate the tribunal immediately.

Let the legal games begin my friend

It doesn't seem like you could take any legal action if you had the persons information. Telling you the world would be better off without you isn't a death threat. It's a toxic opinion that only has weight against the player in the game and not in the eyes of the law. Calling you a whore? Depends entirely on the country the player that did it lives in as well as where you live, and even then it's a civil stretch. You're both anonymous and there's no actual damage from the libel and it's clear in advance the player has no means to make a random team believe you are a prostitute.

If you can't handle this occasional level of toxicity, I'm sorry, but League isn't the game for you.
