Being bullied as a new player is not fun

I’m relatively a new player in this game as my account level is pretty low still. Instead of veteran players giving new players some guides. They tend to be toxic and bullied me. Tho i tried my best to keep to myself but is hard when there is a very toxic yasuo player kept pounding you with verbal abuse non stop. Even i muted him, he still kept insulting me at end game chat. Both games i kept being matched with this toxic yasuo player. Both games kept insulting me. Is it that hard being nice to new players in this game?

The problem is that a significant portion of the veteran players you're playing with are people who were permabanned fairly recently.

This never really goes away, but it will happen less often as you level up. As for what you can do now, mute them if they're causing a problem, then report them and know they're probably going to get banned because the IFS treats low level accounts more strictly than higher levels.

I know how you feel. The game is full of 10 year olds who think they're important just because they play this game. You should report them all. I started playing a year and a half ago because I lost a bet and had to install the game. I'm gold 2 and I still get flamed. Just yesterday I played Jhin adc and my diamond support Pyke kept pinging question marks every time I didn't get a last hit on a minion. Then proceeded to flame me in chat that why am I shitty at farming etc. When I only usually play support and haven't had time to learn how to farm well. People will be mean to you. You can't always ignore them but just report after game. And try to avoid playing jungle, adc or support. They usually get blamed and bullied.

Don't' ever paly jungle...ever. Riot allows player to blame the jungle for all of their mistakes. Basically Riot allows you to be your "team's" verball punching bag...they will never punish anyone for griefing the jungle. And when flaming you don't' trigger a response, they will grief you by farming all your farm and then flaming you for being behind. Again, Riot doesn't punish that form of griefing the jungle either.

If you haven't put money into game, I suggest just quitting, this game is actually getting shittier and more toxic as it goes on.

New player gets flamed for poor performance? Jesus... round up a list of all involved, get them banned, so we can quickly get them right back into the system playing with new players on their next account.

Protip: At the start of every game, type, "/mute all" in chat.

You will literally never be bullied again.

It's natural for players to flame you when you're playing poorly, making mistakes etc., because you're contributing to a loss. All you can do is mute/ignore them, and grow thicker skin

There should be an option in the game to have that be the default for all games. I have never once been harassed in this because I give ZERO f's about my teams opinions, they are nothing to me

Yeah, it's tough being a new player and getting put against and paired with smurfs and most of them are toxic because they think they know how to play the game and you're new so you don't know, which should be obvious but they're too thick headed so they flame you.

So I suggest as soon as they start being toxic just mute them. But sometimes you can see people that are nice and try to help you out, but that's pretty rare.

my friend did it once occur to u that we were all once a new player?! i was once a new player,back in season1. back then i ddint know shiet,but thats the beauty u learn while playin untill u learn the game and start raging at people who never tried to grasp at least 10% of this game knowlege.

Sadly in order to actually learn something from this game without going through the bullying process requires you to play with 4 premades

if you have people to play with, play with em it'll help. Aside from that all you can really do is mute and report.

Its a hard game to pick up indeed. You will continue to be flamed. Your only option is to mute and report said players. Just try it. The second you feel the flame coming, just mute it out. Why not?

Next time this happens tab out of the game and search them on op.gg.na. 95% of the time the person flaming you has probably lost all their recent games and probably played poorly themselves.

Where excactly did you find the veteran player since you are new? Playing Normals at this lvl, shouldn't have many veterans, 1 at most. Weird.

I am sorry that happened, it really sucks. I get flamed a lot as well, especially since I started trying to learn adc. I haven't figured out a solution, but if you ever want to duo, send OlympusSworn a friend request.

That's what happens when the matchmaking system groups individuals based on some arbitrary factors instead of performance. New players are grouped with people who don't have time to babysit others and are actually attempting to compete.

Most of the toxic players are toxic by default. Some (not all) only have league to have the balls they lack off their computer and use low levels as vicitims. Just know that theres alot of league players who arent toxic and just try to pick out those individuals and call out the toxic ones. Even though i constantly see low levels in my normal games I understand that low levels are new and i try to help because I was in their shoes just like the ones who are toxic now. if you're sensitive to that type of language then mute them but league can be as anonymous as you want it to be. i know that these people don't know me personally and I guarantee you I would be even less intimidated if we all met in person. feel free to add me. i'm new and suck as well but i'm just here to enjoy with friends and family. it's just a game
