Riot doesn't read chat logs. They're scamming us on reports. It's a totally AUTOMATED SYSTEM.

For those people that have been chewing me out about deserving a ban, let me explain something.

If there was a word or phrase that was against the rules, and someone actually looked through a chat log at Riot, THEY WOULD HIGHLIGHT IT so you know what not to say next time.

They don't. Because no one at Riot is reading chat logs. It's an automated system that the trolls have now learned to spam. If a certain number of people report for the same thing, you get an auto penalty. That's it. There is no fairness. No person reading between the lines. I've gotten chat banned for nothing other than picking teemo and my teammates reported me for it.

There is no person involved. It's just an automated system, and it is broken. If there are more trolls on your team than you, you will get banned even if you DID NOTHING WRONG.

You are correct, it is a bot. A bot that reads chat logs. If you're unsure of what rule you broke, feel free to post the logs here. Thia board is usually pretty decent at pointing that out.

If you're not keen on that, you can put a ticket into player support where an actual person can explain it to you, but that does take longer.

Riot has already said that the IFS scans chat and then issues punishments but they can be appealed to player behavior specialists but an appeal does not guarantee a reversal of a punishment.

The IFS is a machine learning system so it isn't perfect.

if it was unjust its as simple as sending in a support ticket it to get a manual review, you dont get banned by number of reports as all a report does is trigger a bot review of that match if everyone reports you it makes no difference from one person reporting you
