You cannot use League's Chat as a discord substitute if your mic doesn't work

I have literally no shame here, the bot punished me within the span of 2 games. Probably for using the word Riot in a very sarcastic manner? Also, both games I had a 5 MAN, my mic did not work. How else am I supposed to communicate with people without the league chat? Another player literally threatened to grieve the match and ironically blew out the headphones of everyone else in the chat during Game 1. This is why people are ashamed of Riot Support, imagine supporting a report bot once a player actively explains to you that these were comments made in Jest in a DISCORD CHAT. I'd like to have a discussion (With a player support, at least to better understand exactly why we can't have dialogue about it, I have Diamond friends who have straight up been unperma'ed for worse behavior in Ranked Solo) because the Ticket was literally an automated message about "I see you were flaming people" but I unironically wasn't and have explained it. Most of the people in my 5 Man think this was not fair in the slightest (We throw reports as a joke. Sure that isn't right, but now that one of us has to talk through chat what can we possibly do?), except for the obviously tilted Fiddle Top. I have literally no idea what I did to that guy. Am I crazy?

You type these things in-game chat , which has rules that you agree with when you creating your account. You clearly broke the rules , joke or not. Your friends reported you lol (nice friends btw) And you get punished for breaking the in-game rules. Thats it , its your own fault that you broke the rules and your friends threw you under the bus xD

Anyways, I take it youre just feeling fucked because it was you just joking around with friends and obviously you didnt offend them, but you just got reported as a joke and punished for real? Its not like you think you didnt break any rules of chat, right?

If its the former, then yeah, thats just a fucked up situation. You screwed yourself knowing that your friends would report you, sorry. That does indeed suck.(Im not being sarcastic in any of this) But thats just how it works unfortunately. They cant make special exceptions for every player who goes "but i was saying it to my friends!". If its the latter, yes you did break rules and I can explain that, but I dont think it is the latter.

I mean, I totally believe you that it was your friends, but that doesnt matter. Giving you an exception sets a precedent that you can have bans reversed simply if you convince support that you only said it to your friends. That would cause so much more shit than it solves. Its best that you just follow the rules at all times, so that we dont get bogged down in specifics having to spend time and money on evaluating each and every individual case to make sure they broke the rules in an acceptable context. So even though I believe you, I would still punish you. Just be smarter next time lol dont break the rules in league chat, or youll be held to league chat standards of rules and punishments.

Title should be "Do not use chat to say shitty things if you have shitty friends". Nothing to do with Discord.
