Probably best to submit a support ticket to Riot
Also, post the exact date you are banned to according to the pop-up. If it's a perma, the date is a code for the reason you were banned.
check your spam folder, if that doesn't work send in a ticket. (https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/requests/new)
It's more than that. In my case, I specialized and main support role. I play strictly support role. When I'm behind or when team has an AFK plus some ultra high profiled toxic team, I will switch up my playstyle and attempt to carry or win the game. If team nag on me much or just raging at me, I will give them a proper 2-cent response. As a result, game mostly ended in a loss and I got reported and banned simply because I'm support doing my best and someone that reported me most possibly has the higher ups' interest. Of course, I heard rumors that some people that got banned wasn't because of riot, but because of control staff playing the game has full authorities to banned anyone if they so choose to. To keep them low profiled, they'll target lower elo where less attention are given and thus banned players just so that they feel much better about their job. But riot doesn't really care because all in all, it's all about money for them. For us players, we only care about what we get out of it. For those of you that got banned, I suggest leaving league and spreading it through youtube, blogs, pinterest with snapshot of why you're banned (simply log in to your game with your banned account, read the long list of dialog of why you're banned). Post it, sell it to news company and or other publishing company, especially EA Sport. And above all, share it all over facebook since league of legend has peoples most interest through social media. I mean, that's how I first got started with league. As the saying goes, "everything returns to where it started".
