Tried to Play Through; Got Banned

I played two games as jungle. Both games I went to gank people and they walked away from me and ignored my pings and chat. If I were to keep trying to help them I would die and feed because they just keep walking away. Soon they tell me I'm not ganking and I respond it's because they are ignoring my pings and chat and I cannot help them if they ignore me. "Next time I feed" is my response to the player telling me to go in by myself while they walk away full health, I was not actually saying I was going to feed. I know it does not look good without the context but that is the beauty of chat logs, you do not get the context. Both games I tried to play through and explain myself to the enemy team because I can see them responding to the people trying to get me reported in all chat. Both games the players start following me around and try to steal my gold and grief me and harass me all game. Now I received a two-week ban for trying to defend myself to the other team and being frustrated with someone trolling.

I tried to just play through the game and explain my position to the other team so they would not report me. I know I said a few negative things like "you're an ass" but I do not think it warrants punishment when they are griefing me the entire game and will note vote yes on the surrender vote. The unanimous early surrender vote is almost useless because every time I see a team want to surrender early it is because someone on the team is griefing or trolling and that person almost always votes no. The people who are trying to play through are getting their time wasted all because one troll wants to keep ruining the game for everyone else and it gets frustrating.

I think a 2 week ban for being frustrated with getting griefed is unfair. This unanimous surrender and report system just seem to cater to trolls; let them ruin the game for as long as they want and don't say anything or else you'll be the one to be in trouble. Riot's response to trolling seems to be "just let it happen."

If you don't argue with people, and just ignore them instead, I think you will find yourself getting flamed/griefed SO MUCH less. I'm a pretty shitty jungler, and I've never had that happen to me. I've been flamed yes, but I don't explain myself and get into debates that leads to them thinking they're getting under my skin. Showing frustration and weakness encourages players to fuck with you more. People love those salty responses. Don't feed them. Ignore flame, griefing, and anything else that pisses you off, and I bet they won't continue doing it all game. They will realize you aren't gonna feed them the salty tears they desire, and quickly grow bored and realize they're only wasting their own time for nothing.

Most recent example is my horrible teemo game in my match history. I fed a fucking rengar with teemo. Once a teammate finally spoke up with a "wait, how did you lose lane teemo?" I simply said "I have no excuse. Just purely shitty play dude. My bad." ....i didn't get mad and make up excuses about how rengar is bullshit or my jungle never ganked. I didnt tell that player to shut up or show that he got under my skin with that question. That would guarantee more flame being brought my way. Nobody said shit in response. It just got really quiet and we won the game.

So continue to play through, but don't feed negativity with more negativity. That's always a recipe for disaster.

You know that intentional feeding is against the rules, yeah?

You know that threatening to intentionally feed is against the rules, yeah?

Then there is truly no point in saying "The missing context that isn't shown in the chat logs is that I played out the game without intentionally feeding." You already very clearly demonstrated that you were deliberately and unapologetically breaking a rule.
