Yet again, there was someone who either got ganked, lost lane, or fed early, only to proceed to rage quit the game. Sure, winning 4v5 is possible, but it rarely works out that way. Can something be done to minimize the LP loss/Promo match? It's not fun losing because of something you literally can't do anything about.
The issue is how easily people could abuse any potential solution.
If you limit the loss of LP to the 4 ppl, some people would try to encourage the player that was doing the worst to leave.
So basically there is no real solution to this now... Everyone is moaning that people would abuse any solution to this, which im unsure about... Riots solution to that is nothing, they dont have any, for now you will get punished by losing a game,wasting your time, and losing lp :) I suggested that Riot punishes players MUCH harder for leaving and Inting and that is all that can be done... Riot will not implement that into their games so youre sadly left with luck and a hope that people will not int or leave :)
I just find it difficult to accept that four other people are punished for the actions of one player deciding to leave. I do not see any issues with making the penalty harsh for that.
If you stuck on Bronze you get more chance to match with trolls or afk. Gold - Plat+ are kinda fine
this is why climbing ranked in bronze-gold is literally impossible, personally it was at least 5/10 my matches that got trolled away. I have to laugh every time someone says elo hell isn't real beause I'm literally having to pull my hair out every single game about something that is 100% out of my control and IS making me lose games. this game is a joke and ranked is not to be taken seriously. I have had gold ripped away from me by losers who don't take ranked seriously for years
No matter how much progress I make and how many champs I have with over 60% winrate in ranked, IT WILL GET SHIT ON BY SOMEONE TROLLING MY MATCHES IT IS INEVITABLE
My first match of the day and the enemy top laner quit after about 8 minutes.
