If you were toxic in postgame chat, that is most likely why you were recently banned.

If you got banned and you think it was for no reason but you were actually toxic in postgame chat, that is why you were banned. The myth of postgame invulnerability isn't true.

I've seen enough evidence to convince me that this is the case (my own ban experience along with that of another guy I played with/against, with postgame toxicity being our only common ToS violation).

Regardless of how much people complain, it still doesn't make "Riot bans people unfairly" a true statement whenever a ban wave happens.

How do you know that? there are no chat logs that come with pre nor post game lobby, and ive never heard of anyone punished for them. Hence why it is, indeed, a myth

Pre/Post game chats were always punishable.

I've seen enough of smites on this boards from Riot Tantrum and Lyte (from way back when) to know it happens.

It has been confirmed that the pre- and post-game chats are monitored by Riot and can count towards triggering a punishment. They just don't show up in reform cards because they're kept on a separate server and it would be too much effort for too little benefit to connect them.

Pre- and Post-game lobby chat have always been factored into reports where they're relevant. I don't know why people still insist that they aren't, but I've had more than my fair share of people announcing their intentions in Pre-game, acting innocent and "new" while in-game, then patting themselves on the back for successfully ruining another game and getting away with it. It catches up to them eventually, especially if you put in the report that they need to check Pre- and Post-game chat in order to confirm the actions. Screenshots are helpful, but I can't be bothered to go that far myself.
