Was just in a game and I was never toxic or said anything report worthy but ended up getting reported by like 4 people, they were all definitely harassing me and being toxic so I reported, but I just wanted to know if I can get reported by a lot of bans or does riot actually go through chat logs and read what happened, Also while I'm at it is spamming pinging a reportable offense on any level?
Please try to ignore claims that reports get you banned simply for being made; that is not how the report system works. Your behavior is reviewed by the Instant Feedback System for accuracy of the reports, and if you did nothing wrong you won't be punished. Additionally, multiple reports in a single match do not somehow "stack", as all reports do is trigger a review of your behavior in that game, and it does this exactly the same every time whether it was 1 report or 9.
Also, spam pinging, while very annoying and rude, is not punished because pings can be muted now.
No. 1 report is the same as 9 reports. It just flags the game to be reviewed.
As a reformed summoner that knows whats up I can tell you that yes you can get banned for mass reports since a bot does it. No pings are not reportable. However if you are a tiny bit toxic they might just keep your account banned to make more money. Depending on the rioter reviewing your account. If you do nothing you could get it overturned probably.
But multiple reports over many games will get you banned #quanityoverquality

If you really could get banned for several reports, it would make it way easier for a team of trolls to get you banned for no reason. Riot checks what happens in-game and in-chat before deciding your punishment, one other thing, don't ask people to report a person, that's unsportsmanlike. If your team members believe they should be reported, let them do as they please, also, don't report people for no reason. It may seem pointless in me telling you this, but I want to reduce the amount of toxic players in League, and I encourage you to do so too, as well as anyone who reads this comment. Unless you actually did something ban-worthy, ignore the haters, just have fun playing League, and don't be one of the toxic players that League cracks down on. :)
yes if you slip up and a whole pre made reports you that will equal a for sure ban as dumb as that is
