Sure I wasn't being a nice teammate but my ADC kept afking and my top and support kept flaming me for trying to win. I hear that people get automatically flagged for typing too much and that seems to be the case with me, its dumb. Can I get this overturned? I was honor 3 prior and my team mass reporting me flagged the system even though what they were doing(intentionally feeding and afking) was 100x worse I think they were duos or something and wanted to get me banned.

“Neck yourself” has been synonymous with “hang yourself” for a while. You’re lucky you didn’t get a 14-day.

There was a mistake with your punishment.

Telling someone to kill themselves is normally a 14 day ban for the first offense.

I suggest creating a support ticket to correct this error.

This is entirely unacceptable, and no, Riot would not consider overturning this punishment. In fact, given the "neck yourself" comment, you're lucky this wasn't a worse punishment.

'Neck yourself' alone is enough to warrant a chat restriction, if not a 14-day suspension.

Calling your team idiots is not healthy or productive to winning behaviour in-game.

There is no reason why you shouldn't have encountered a penalty here. If you see problematic behaviour, report it so it's seen and punished. Don't engage with it, and don't behave poorly yourself. That's all you can control.

EDIT furthermore, only one report is needed to get your chat logs evaluated, so the mass-reported and ganging-up-on-me concept of punishment is a myth.

If you want to see something punished, that is punishable under the Summoner's Code, report it.

In my entire experience growing up and going to school: i always thought "neck yourself" was when someone tells you to slap your self in the back of your neck(said when you do something stupid).

I was borderline confused one day when someone on the boards said "neck yourself",means "kill yourself".

My schools have been using the "neck yourself" phrase as a means to slap yourself in the back of the neck. It was never used to tell someone to die.

I think what I'm saying,is that this is pretty sad. You could be growing up,and in an environment where people use a certain phrase,but you could be unaware that the phrase also means something serious.. And you'd never know.

I just don't think it's fair to punish people for using a phrase that also means something else that's harmless. While it is also possible they never knew the phrase had a different,serious meaning.

Riot simply needs to inform people what kind of phrases aren't allowed,so they wouldn't get punished for technically being innocent.

Why dont you go look at the summoners code? The fuck, people. Do some fucking thinking for yourself. Look at the rules, look at your chat log for rules broken. If you HONESTLY dont find any, youre fucking dumb dude. Dont lie to yourself. Just check the god damn rules yourself and figure it out. Jesus christ why are people so lazy and dramatic about shit they can easily figure out on their own.
