what happen to LOL it used to be a game i played with my kids for some good family fun, used to be. Now days you cant get a game without a cyber bully telling you to kill your self or hope your mom dies of cancer. There was a time when such actions were delt with but it seems that that is a thing of the past..the removal of the tribunal and the fact that people can go on and say anything thay want with little to no consaquences has made me wish i hadnt spent the money i have on this game. riot how can you have let this slip so far out of control. with the ranked system so full of trolls that come in just to throw games and rage people for there amusement that trying to climb is a joke all the way to just tring to play a norm match and have to watch as people cus your family members for the least mistake made, this game has become nothing more than a rage inducer. I am a 56 year old man tring to find a way to have some quality time with my kids and all you here anymore is non stop harasment to the point you have to mute the entire room just to try to get thru a game without some foul mouth that is there for no reason but to ruin you fun. I know i cant be the only parent out here that is sick of the behaveure that is not a rare thaing but a nonstop thing that this has become. I ask you this riot...do your children play this with you...do you feel it is fine to ignore this behavure? If so can i get a refund of all the hard earned cash spent on a game that is no longer a safe enviroment to go to and try to enjoy your self.

Judging by how many people come here complaining about their accounts being banned, I'd say they're still punishing people, there's just a lot of assholes out there.

You are correct. They no longer ban people, hence why this particular is so devoid of people complaining about bans and such.

On a more serious note - of course they still ban. Come on man. This is a game that asks that players be over 13, has a semi-functional language filter, and other tools to help protect your kids from that type of behavior. At the end of the day though, MOBAs, for whatever reason, bring out the rage and toxicity of people.

While Riot is working on trying to moderate the behavior, they simply can't do it at instant speed at all points. Whether you enjoy it or not is up to you, not Riot. There are plenty of other games out there that are more child friendly, depending on how old your kids are. Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, FIFA, etc. Even Heroes of the Storm has a slightly less toxic community while still maintaining the MOBA feel.

If you insist on trying to make LoL continue to work for you, I would suggest finding a gaming community that you can play with and have a full premade party to reduce the toxicity around you. When I was having a little trouble with the toxic behavior around me I just played as premade 5s for a little and it was a lot more enjoyable. Alternatively if you have at least two children you play with you can always play Twisted Treeline.
