i really need help. i get a lot of toxic players in my games when i play league and it tilts me. i try my hardest to stay positive but it so hard to.. how can i maintain myself when in game because i really hate being tilted because it makes the game not even fun to play anymore.

Best thing you can do to stay untilted is /mute all, and do your best, enjoy the game. Don't every type. You'll just play the game. You won't see other people type. To you, they'll just be playing the game. If they try to ping spam you, ignore it. Those obnoxious ping spammers who constantly ping the mia "?" symbol over you because you did one thing they don't like? Your brain is more powerful than their pings. Ignore, ignore, ignore. Play the game. Just play the game. Go Zen. Stay Zen. Enjoy a beverage of your choice while you play (whatever it may be). Provide useful pings. Assist when you see it's needed. Back off when you think you'll die. Forget the chat box even exists. It's not needed. 92.7% of the time it's going to be used by people to either be toxic, or share a joke, or do wave their 22/5/0 KDA like it's a giant 
and they think flaunting their donger in text makes them OP. It doesn't. It makes them waste time they could be playing the game. There it is again. Play. The. Damned. Game. And relax, because even at LCS? It's still a game. Unless it's you're job because you're a professional player, it's ultimately a recreational activity. You still play to win. Like when you golf. Or play racquetball, or tennis, or whatever. Being toxic in text is like walking up to a guy or gal in the bowling alley and saying, "Get good, noob, you suck. Get on my level." That's a hell of a way to get a black eye, or get shot depending on what part of the world you live in. We can't mute people in the 'real world'. We can in league. It's the "BEST THING™" they've ever made. Use it. Abuse it. Mute every game. EVERY game.

It may not work for you, YMMV obviously. But seriously. Give it a try. I await your downvotes. I'll get downvotes because the worst thing you can do to someone who is toxic is IGNORE them. Not plat. Don't even care. I never tilt. I never rage. I enjoy a 'good game', no matter the outcome. Zen.
Are you under the impression and players plat and above dont get tilted?
I'm tilted 24/7 when I play league :D only advice you need is it is a game with 9 other strangers They have little to no impact on your life
