14 day ban based off of misunderstanding

Keep in mind I've never previously received any warnings suspensions or any sort of punishment. I believe that I received a 14 day ban based off of a misunderstanding I called some one a "%%%got" however I believe it was interpreted as the informal homophobic meaning and not the way that I meant it. I was using it based off of the definition of it being a bundle of sticks essentially calling "lux" useless by comparing her to a bundle of sticks, I did not mean it in the homophobic meaning of the word. I understand that this could still be interpreted as toxic however I feel I was given the harsher punishment due to the miscommunication .

Certain things, such as using hate speech, are not acceptable and will usually result in an escalated punishment. There is no place for those words in League of Legends, and you certainly aren't the first person to try and "redefine" them. You knew dang well what it meant and what it would be interpreted as, yet you chose to use the word anyway. Further, in addition to that, the rest of your chat isn't "scot free" - you are excessively negative in the rest of your chat as well, and that would have been punishable if there was a pattern of it across games.

Sorry I cannot bring better news, but it's unlikely this ban is overturned.

OP your sob story is as fake as Rihanna's hair. You're even harassing the rest of your team, some without the word that you used in the hateful manner. Deserved ban.

gunna have to suck it up. i was suspended two years ago for racial and homophobic slurs. after i was banned i never did it again because its just not worth it. not wort losing an account where i invested hundreds of dollars and 7 years. hope this would serve as a lesson to you to avoid being toxic in the field.

In what world exactly does 'On a scale of 1 - bundle of sticks you're a huge bundle of sticks' make sense? Like Help me understand here, because I really don't. Is it something about the size of the bundle of sticks that somehow makes it even less useful? Are the sticks themselves giant? Or maybe... just maybe you're trying to get out of a deserved, hate speech using ban by playing the "I'm totally innocent cause I'm redefining terms and words for myself" card. People have tried it before and people will try it again.

And believe me, even if it's not the dictionary definition, it's definitely used more to refer to LGBT folks in a derogatory way than as a bundle of sticks. It's kinda like how the word bitch is, by definition, a female dog, but calling someone that isn't calling them a female dog, just like calling someone the F slur isn't calling them a bundle of sticks, dictionary definition or not.

IM so confused as to why you would even use it in that context since both are toxic behavior. If you didnt mean it as the homophobic slur, using it as a means to call someone useless is also toxic thus needing punishment as well. So you really are shooting yourself in the foot by using that excuse. Just use this as a life lesson and take the punishment!
