How do I challenge a chat restriction when teammates lobby for reports that are false?

I was recently restricted on game chat and I have video evidence of my teammates being cancerous and lobbying for votes against me from other team when in reality the reporters where toxic and intentionally feeding?

There are a few helpful things to know about the IFS, which might help provide context to your chat restriction.

First, it doesn't count how how many people report, it only checks to see if there is at least 1 report. It's a binary zero/non-zero check. Thus, you don't need to worry about people crusading for reports against you. In fact, if they are harassing you by repeatedly threatening reports and trying to force you into certain actions, they themselves have broken the rules and I would advise you to report them too.

Second, the system doesn't care who is doing the reporting. If they are reported, the system will check for it. If you report them, the system will review it independent of all other players. If they report you, the system will review your game independent of all other players.

Third, if you were chat restricted, then they aren't false reports. Just because the other players also probably deserve a punishment doesn't make yours invalid. As mentioned earlier, each reported player is judged independent of all teammates. Back in the Tribunal days, it was common for the voters to give a bit of leeway to those who had awful teammates, but even then it hardly a guarantee.

If you'd like us to take a look at your logs, you can log into the League Client to access them and copy them here. We can point out bad moments, unhealthy attitudes, areas to improve, etc.

You can file a Support Ticket, but if you did get chat restricted, then you very likely broke the rules; if you retaliated or counterflamed the other players who were rallying for reports against you, that would validate those reports.

I'd recommend posting your chat logs, because, while false-positives do happen on rare occasions, I have to have my doubts that you were perfectly innocent.

Only your actions matters, it doesn't matter who started and who did what.

If you want any opinions, post chatlogs.

You don't need to challenge anyone against false reports. The system has the ability to review reports and throw out false reports.

If you've been punished, chances are you are doing something wrong without knowing it is wrong.

Judging from your tone of voice, I'm guessing you spend a considerable amount of time arguing with your teammates, accusing people of trolling, asking for reports and maybe got a negative attitude of wanting to give up early.

Since the system punishes based on consistency x severity, when do all those things often, all those actions listed above accumulates and you'll eventually get punished.

Except that false reports don't do anything No matter how many players report you If you did nothing wrong, you won't be punished

Dont worry, one report has the same effect as 9. They dont punish you for just being gang reported, that would be so stupid. Also, they dont let you break the rules just because someone else broke them first. So the fact you were retaliating is pretty irrelevant.
