5-6 months after 14 ban question

So I read that after a 14 day suspension it takes 5-6 months for the punishment to go back a tier, so, is it possible for someone to revert their punishment scale back to the very first tier, and how many positive games would you have to play for that to happen?

For the first question, yes. It is entirely possible to return to the lowest punishment tier. The number we know is "around 3 months of regular play per tier", which would imply 3/4 of a year to reset from a 14-day ban. But remember that's regular, positive play. Less than perfect play would take longer (months longer, even. Possibly 1-1.5 years).

For the second question, nobody knows. Well, Riot probably knows, but they deliberately don't tell anyone. They want people to be positive by default, not "I have 8 positive games left before I can flame again". It's probably several hundred positive games (without negative games) to go from "next is perma" to "next is 10-game restrict", and a substantially larger number of neutral games.

Yes it is possible. They don't tell people exactly how long, or how many games. I know you have to play games though, you can't just go away for 6 months and you'll be fine. You have to show reform, but if you're at permaban tier, it would probably take a year or more to go back to first tier. That's just a complete guess though.

The time-frame is an estimate on how long it'll take to play enough games to prove you learned self -control. It may be a bit more or less depending on how often you play and whether you receive valid reports during that period.
