AFK Rates Are Really High
1 in 10 matches in Bronze has an AFK according to here: https://www.leagueofgraphs.com/rankings/afk-stats
All of the regions and all of the tiers have fairly high AFK rates, with Diamond still being at 4%.

it went down A LOT! i checked it last year kinda at the start of season 8 and bronze almost had a 19% afk rate.
That's like the unemployment rate lol
Despite making up 13% of the population, pro players afk and feed in 50% of troll cases.
Thats crazy. AFK or DC? Are there more qualifiers?

In my last 5 games this weekend I had 3 wits AFK players on my side - rage quits mostly - so I lost LP and thanks to the RIOT's brilliant logic I was penalized with even more points . I understand, sometimes the AFK player is on the other team, but this is totally random ... and not evenly distributed. I might loose 7 games because AFK and win 2-3, and my case this totally true. Those balanced games in gold elo are becoming very rare.
Probably a result of more people learning that you are punished much less severely for AFKing/leaving than for chat.
