People troll without saying a single word and don't get banned

Riot wonders why people get triggered/tilted so easily. Just had a game with an adc who when I politely asked if he could help ward, he started using wards right at our base and then flexing his mastery symbol and proceeded to waste every single ward at our base for the duration of the game. Then let me ( his support) die on purpose, and each time flexed his mastery symbol.

So behavior like this is completely accepted and allowed and basically not punishable because he didn't actually type anything bad.

PERSONALLY? I would MUCH rather have someone that types toxic things that I can EASILY mute, then have someone troll like this. SMH.

Post your evidence that they don't get banned or punished in any way, and more importantly post your evidence that Riot thinks this is acceptable behavior.

Nothing you have said here even remotely hints that Riot finds this behavior acceptable. As far as I can tell you didn't see an immediate punishment, and decided that no instant ban meant it is acceptable behavior.

The truth is it's harder to catch behavioral offenses than it is chat related ones. In chat a bot just has to scan it for words real quick and move on, where as we can barely teach a bot to recognize a picture of a bird as a picture of a bird, so having one monitor player behavior is out of the question. Just report the guy, and when there are enough reports to show the player as a real problem a human will take a look and punish accordingly.

The first punishment for a behavior related offense is a 14 day ban, so while Riot may not get to this guy quickly they will give him a final warning right off the bat.

How in the WORLD can Riot catch this behavior and punish it without me taking an hour to record, and upload a video of it and send in a email showing the behavior to riot, who will takes 18 weeks to actually view it, because I can't post it on the forums because it would be considered " name shaming/player shaming "

Why is it always implied that these are mutually exclusive? Is there a reason that Riot can't try to ban both types of poor behavior?

yeah lot of trolls out there. i believe the kids who used to just rage at their teammates now take it out on them by trolling instead. they know they get banned if they rage but trolling is still hard to detect.

You may perceive that this behavior is not punishable, but it's punishable, make sure your report him as griefing at the post game screen.

Did you report the player for bad behavior? That is a reportable offense.

"Riot wonders why people get triggered/tilted so easily." - this is easy. People get tilted so easily because they take this GAME way too seriously and don't know how to handle their own emotions. No one can tilt you. Being tilted is a choice you make.
