Unfair Chat restriction

I was just in a game, where we had a tristana top and i was jungle, Constantly dying over and over again, i hadnt said anything yet, then she started telling me to kill myself, calling me the N word, FYI Our mid and Adc had disconnected, Because i didnt gank she was flaming me the whole time, so i started telling her why i couldnt gank and theres no point because its a 3v5. I told her thats shes silver and she doesnt know what shes talking about.

After the game had ended from Early FF, My honor level was locked and i was chat banned, for absolutely no reason, she didnt stop cursing at me, Absolute bullshit restriction. People like that deserve to be banned, not people like me. Absolute horseshit riot, fix your shit

lol, not chat logs (of course).

When someone uses nasty language and racial slurs, it is not "okay" to be nasty back. When someone gets like that, report them, and enjoy that instant feedback notification a game later.

Did you report them after the game? If so, they may also face a punishment (don't expect a notification). However, their actions do not excuse your actions.

Chat logs please. If you actually didn't type all game, file a support ticket. Until then nobody can tell you whether or not this was deserved.

I feel you. After 5 years of playing this game, I just got my first chat restriction for defending myself from trolls. My support got mad at me for some random reason at minute 1 into the game and proceeded to never lane and just follow our jungler around. The jungler supported the trolling and told my opponents to false report me. The worst I said was "I hope you get permabanned" / "if you're going to troll this game is over"/ "please report this sup and jg for trolling". Apparently these statements = bannable offense. I never cussed or said anything rude about anyone or their gameplay. I never expected those statements could result in a chat restriction, and worst of all, honor demotion. I linked my friends the chat log and none of them support the ban to be fair.

In the future we will just have to mute and never defend ourselves I guess. It sucks the lesson had to be learned this way. And also, having your honor level demoted to 0 after first chat restriction is too harsh imo. Like if I had been given a chat restriction without honor demotion I would already learnt my lesson to never argue or defend myself in chat and just mute. But now it feels even worse. People that get their first chat restriction due to toxic trolls, in the real world, equate to people that face criminal charges for self defense. It just doesn't feel right or fair. Who knows how long it will take to get back to honor level 2.

They dont show you chat logs for chat restrictions, but i will file a support ticket
