The in-game report system really need a change
Yesterday I had a couple with a same dude. I played solo queue ARURF and met him in the game. In some games he was in my team and some games on the other team. After we lost several games together and he started flaming me. I know it's not right but I flamed it back. For this part I know I was wrong and I apologize. However, in the last game, this guy got a Trundle and he actually trolled me on purpose.
I'm not talking about misplays or bad games. I got Lissandra and I called mid at the beginning of the game. I just wanted to ignore him and play it like a normal game. But he kept flaming me since the beginning of the game. And worse, he walked into the mid lane and stood under the first tower without even moving. If he showed any signs he wanted mid I would walk away. Honestly, I really hate to be the same lane with this guy. But he just stood there, did nothing. Just took half the exp away. The only time he moved is when I was trying to B. He used his E to cancel my recalling for more than 10 times!!! The gameplay video can prove what I said really happened.
I've tried to let my teammate notice this trolling behavior, and maybe they can help me out. That's what I thought. But clearly I was wrong, no one gives a thing about it. After that, I tried to go to other lanes or go into the jungle, this guy kept following me and take all the minion and monsters possible. He really pissed me off and I said bad stuff. Again, I shouldn't say that and I'm sorry. I reported him after the game with a short explanation about what happened in that game. Guess what? I got chat restriction and no result about him!!!
I'm not complaining about the restriction I got. I deserve it, I should modify my behavior and be a better player. But what about the other guy who deserves some real punishment than me? He destroyed other players' experience on purposely. He deserves at least some punishments right? At least, if he is not punished you should let me know and let me know why!!!!
This is not the first time I report someone and receive no response. I think the report system is old and needs a change. You should let players know what happens to their reports. Is the report still during the process? Is it done? Is it denied? Reasons? Adding a feedback system is a very simple way to solve this problem. It can help players understand the criteria of how you judge players' behavior. I think transparency is very important in this process. As for me, I got punished because of my language. But meantime, the real "trolling" player gets away. Isn't that hilarious?
