I am just curious - if someone is keep flaming me with horrible way, then troll, then afk in base and after that he is telling me that I got report and I tell him that he is muted and I hope that he will be banned for his behaviour and then I got chat-restriction while he is totally free I feel that something is really wrong with this system. Right now I got nothing to play for... end of season no rewards nothing so in fact I don;t care anymore - thanks riot. Keep defend trolls and inters and really toxic players. Keep going! and don't forget to punish someone who is actually using your precious mute system to avoid toxic player :) Can someone please tell me where I was so offensive to grab chat restriction? I told the guy, who was keep flaming me that I got "no dmg" "trash botlane" etc. while we lost only cause we follow him to jungle where enemy adc got 2 kills and 2 assists. I told him that, then he started to flame even more and simply trolling game, so I muted him, then he went afk and back to avoid leaverbooster. He cheated well that horrible system in fact. If we got ban for "muted, reported, you are terribly toxic" there is something really bad happening to system :D Please now explain me for what should I play now your game? For what? To be constantly abused and got panishment for it? No season rewards cause of toxic inter in my game, even 2 btw. premade <3 Love when premades reports are counted to chat restriction.

So you want someone banned for making bad gameplay decisions? That's considered as harassment, when you display such behavior often enough, the system will punish you.

Apparently saying "Report X Player" is considered as harassment and can be punished even if the player is inting, griefing or trolling INTENTIONALLY. I actually got moderated because of that and since it was at the end of the season, I ended up losing all my ranked rewards. [zombie-brand-facepalm]

Imo, it's pretty lame. When you say to report someone, it's to let the others know that they're playing bad on purpose.

The game doesn't tell you how reporting works, so people just assume that reporting someone multiple times have more chances to ban them - Being a game developer my self, I doubt that's the case but none can tell so people come up with that assumption.

I don't know, but seeing all those threads on this board just makes me think that Riot Games is being more harsh at the end of the season on purpose so people don't get "free stuff", even though they've worked their butts off. Might be my impression though.

Nothing much can be done at this point but I hope next season they fix their honor system in regards to those "soft" moderations at the end of the season.

I feel like you didn't actually mute them.

You blamed teammates, argued, and asked for reports.

1 report does the same as 9. They may have gotten a chat restriction too.

Almost the entirety of your chat was either,

  • Complaining about someone's gameplay
  • Complaining about someone's behavior
  • Claiming or trying to get people to report someone else
  • Taunting someone over their supposed ban

You're not suppose to do any of those.

Whether or not the other person is punished for their behavior is irrelevant to your punishment, and likely unknown to you anyway. The notification handed out for punishments to those people who reported them is pretty inconsistent.

You said nothing worthy of a chat restriction. Small brain people on PB section pretty much copy paste the same response on every thread. Yeah... “being negative”. Guess you don’t deserve ranked rewards now haha! My freakin head dude.

You said nothing super vulgar or anything.

Message player support and see what they can do.

Basically you have to deal with their trolling, speak in a positive way all the time, or immediately mute and move on without responding to these players and then report. Riot firmly believes that even engaging with flamers is reason enough for both of you to receive punishment, even if it is in defense of yourself. You cannot flame back, request reports, talk negative about their gameplay decisions, item pathing, vision score, etc or else you risk a reprimand. So basically, just mute all and play your best.

I have never seen someone copy-paste the chat logs into notepad then screenshot it and upload it lmfao
