riot doesnt ban bots

i detect bots fairy easily (mostly common in bots mode, ARAM, 3v3)

usually [random letters][real name] or [real name][random letters]: those type of bots "try to play" or just a normal looking name with no random letters; they usually dont lh much, spam skills all over the place and die alot clanless and usually no "fancy letters" such as xX[name]Xx

2 days ago i met a player with this name composition in SR: randomL+realN he played jg, his name made me wonder: a bot? quickly looked him up on op.gg; level 50+

so i asked him a simple question: "did you buy your account?" he surprisingly answered: "yes"

the bot owner usually stop leveling the accounts at ~30 but this guy played for quite some time without getting banned

and riot apparently doesnt care about how much the players get ruined in 3v3 and ARAM in the precess and new players dont even know that they are bots, experiencing the worst possible sub-30 gaming experience

Bots get banned in waves and not immediately after the game or getting reported. Even after review and found that they were a bit, they aren't immediately punished.

This way it's harder for the developer to know what got them detected.

It sucks for people in the short term, but this method works better in the long term.

It's something of an arms race between botters and RIot's detection systems. I imagine RIot would love to be able to preemtively block bots. And unfortunately for those of us who have to deal with bots in out games, it's better for RIot to run periodic ban waves, rather than ban players as soon as they confirm botting.

Keep in mind, the buyer isn't exactly innocent, either. Buying, selling and sharing accounts are explicitely mentioned as grounds for banning in the ToS.
