Honor restrictions

So just got finished talking to some riot support staff and was told to make something about it here so here we go: I was an honor lvl 5 player this season with 1500+ games never been banned in my life not even chat restricted; then one bad game late at night i get the slightest bit toxic. BOOM! 10 game chat restriction for calling a kid an ape. I had worked all season with nothing on my record in the way of punishments I have a pbe acc. for ffs. And now due to this one ban resetting my honor from 5-0 this close to the end of the season there is no way i can even get lvl 2 to get end of season rewards or compete in clash. I'll be honest with you here, I don't think it will be possible to hit honor level 2 by the end of the season on November 12th. -VoidWish (riot support) so riot knows they screwed me. SO WHY IS THIS A THING! Bans for toxicity i get we cant have old tyler1s everywhere but i was perfect for the lifetime of this acc and now all the rewards i worked for all season are underachieve, which i'll be honest i could care less about an emote and an Oriana skin. What really sucks is clash I can't participate on clash teams with friends from my group or irl? Why? Because i was mean to a person in draft? This is ridiculous and needs to be changed. Fix: It's simple really if I have 1500+ spotless games does that justify taking away everything over one game where i wasn't even close to "excessive toxicity". If a player is honor 3+ clearly they aren't some cyber bully so lets not reset honor all the way down at the slightest insolent, especially at the end of the season becuase people like myself aren't getting a piece of crap from riot for playing all season and helping them with 1/2 million bugs on pbe not that we get anything for that but that is for another post. It took a bit some convincing, but the Honor demotion might be a bit harsh. I think it should depend on the tier of the penalty and the position of the Honor Ranking. Tier 1 penalty should 1 tier demotion, Tier 2 should be 2, and Tier 3 should just simply take them to 0 Honor regardless of their position due to the fact it is the last warning before a permaban.

Riot will find a balance solution possibly. They always look for ways of improving, but they don't make it any less strict. Which is a good thing.

Ps: Remember though, this Honor restriction tie to Ranking Rewards is really new. Also a good thing really. They could find more ways of improving it though.

Briliant nature of their "reform" system and cesspit of throwing toxic retards into games with normal people, who eventually snap and it cost them much more. Where toxic retards who have been punished several times, have honor level 0 and nothing to loose so they will keep flaming and itlting others anyway, one minor mistake of a honorable player deletes all his progress and throw him straight into toxic crowd.

Well done riot, well done. This is the reason I have permanently hidden ingame chat via settings, setting them to read only so the chat X and Y values are -1000 forever and gmae doesnt rewrite it.

Now I cant see what ldiots are saying to me so I am tiltproof.

So which was it? A chat restriction or a ban? Those are two different punishments. You can't go straight to ban from a single game unless it's a zero tolerance situation (you didn't specify the context of the ape insult - was it racist?). If it's just a chat restriction, your honor level only drops to 1 unless you're already at 1, at which point it drops to 0. You'll only go from 5 to 0 if it was a ban.

You’ll only drop if you receive a penalty. A chat restriction knocks your Honor level to 1, or 0 if you’re already at level 1. A two week suspension will drop your level to 0 (even if you were higher). In both cases, your honor progress will be locked, making your account ineligible for hextech crafting rewards. Your honor progress will unlock some time after your restriction as long as you show signs of reform.
