Champ Select problems

So I have people on my team that keep banning my champs. (it is extra frustrating because the game notifies you if someone on your team wants to play that champ). After that they either right it off entirely or pull the 'I wasn't paying attention'. Due to this i sometime dodge the queue to save my time and and prepare for one where my team wants to help me from the get go and is paying attention! But NO!! I get a thirty minute ban the third dodge but the people who ban my champ and are toxic in champ select get no punishment. As an avid player of ranked I don't find that fair at all.

Depends though, are you picking your champ before you ban? If you aren't picking your champ before you ban they have no idea whatsoever you want to play said champ unless you are typing it out, in which case just picking it pre=ban is more effective.

Also people really do not notice, sometimes a player had a terrible matchup vs the same champ you want to play and they don't want to have that same experience again and so end up having a tunnel vision kind of focus in banning that champ.

Now this thing of banning champs on a team mates own team isn't that consistant, if it is consistant for you then clearly something you aren't doing might be doing it. The last time I someone on my team banned a team mates champion was when i was in a custom a few weeks ago and he was simply trolling me. However i knew him well enough to trick him into banning a champion i didn't want to play at all lol.
