I got wrongfully banned, has this happened to anyone else??

So I went to log on to league last night to play tft, and I got met with a "You've been banned for using a third party software" message. Let me start by saying I've only been playing league for a few months, I've never been suspended for any amount of time, I never got a message that was like "Hey, stop that or we'll ban your account" or anything, and the closest I ever get to "flaming" in chat is saying "U Rite" when someone says I'm trash in SR (because I really am). I'm not ranked in SR, and never have been, and I'm silver I in tft. I can honestly say I'm definitely not technologically smart enough to figure out how to hack in LoL, so I have no clue why I was banned. My fiance also plays on the same laptop and his account hasn't been banned, so there's apparently nothing on my laptop that would set off the system. I submitted a ticket last night in hopes I'll get my account back, but it's honestly really bummed me out because my friends put money into my account and now it's gone for no reason :(

TLDR: I basically have 3 questions

  1. Has anyone else been wrongfully banned?
  2. Did you get your account back if you were?
  3. How long did it take for riot to take to respond to your ticket?

Thanks for any advice in advance <3

Honestly when looking at your match history and anyone sees these matches

It comes off as a botted account (being leveled using bots). Most of the time I've only ever seen Ghost/Heal summoner spells back to back to back like that when an account was leveled to be purchased. Plus when it's just the same champion over and over like that for early levels it can be another thing that's suspicious sometimes, and those low builds when you should have had plenty of gold to build items seeing those KDAs.

  1. You do not get a warning message. The Terms of Use make explicitly clear that your account is your responsibility, and that there are no third party programs that affect the League client in any way that are deemed approved.

  2. Your chat behavior does not matter for this punishment.

  3. It does not matter who is using the same computer/internet/whatever, it matters what your account did.

  4. As another player points out, your account has a fairly suspicious match history in multiple ways. Obviously Riot is not going to reveal how they detected you violating the rules, as this would mean that they would reveal how to avoid their detection systems as well.

  5. There are multiple days in your match history where the amount of play, considering queue times, loading times, and human necessity (such as bathroom breaks, food, sleep, etc) are very unlikely to be human play, in addition to other factors.

  6. Nobody on this board can help you, nor will Riot remove the suspension if they verify that your account violated the rules.

Someone probably reported you for using Third Party Programs when you weren't.

(There's a lot of false reporters)

  1. I have seen a forum post or two of people being wrongfully banned for it.

  2. Yes, they both gottheir accounts back. All the other claims I've seen did not get their accounts back, and I've seen many claims of wrongfully banned for 3rd Party Software.

  3. It took one of them about a week, after many conversations with support. They just kept sending new tickets in after previous ones were closed. Eventually they got the right person to look deeper and restored ttheir account. The other, I dont remember how long. Edit: shit just realized you said how long for them to respond. Idk, i think each ticket was like a day or so.
