It has happened almost every game that i played to try to learn a new champ/role that one or more on my team calls me a "troll" or "feeder" and reporting me after the game.
This doesn't really belong here but maybe there should be a gamemode that let's you practice champions and roles vs real people but not being afraid of getting reported if you are playing bad
Because people can be dicks. Doesn't matter what they think. Try your best.

It is called blind and normal drafts. Unless you are actually trolling/inting, the reports don't matter.
cuz everyone expects every one on their team to be a pro player at all champs and roles and if you arent you should uninstall. also if you lose its not cuz the other player/team is better for any reason its cuz you are a troll/inter
i would suggest a couple of custom games or practice mode time. then maybe some co op vs ai to get a hang then go into normals with new champ.
When learning a new champion/role, mute everyone when the game begins. Then you won't have to hear anyone.
I usually make custom games, give myself 4 beginner bots and the enemy 5 int bots.
What I say is "Is anyone ok with me trying out x champ?" If everyone is ok with it, great. If someone says no, fuck it, mute them, and keep playing.
(Don't do this in ranked though)

That just happened to me right now. I decided to try vayne and these two guys were playing really good in the lane. So, they keep killing me and MF... well, they started trolling me. Even though, MF was also dying. So I stop playing. I am not gonna put up with bullying.
If you don't do it in ranked then you shouldn't care at all, just mute those braindead bonobos. Normals are made 4fun so it's fine.
Mute all simple as that.
If you are playing bad only you have nothing to be afraid you will not get any kind of punishment. As for the team talking sht just mute all
I've been exclusively learning new champs in ranked during preseason. If anyone throws a fit about it just don't respond. This is what preseason is for.
