lane calling Etiquette

I was in a game lat day, and i was put in a rather awkward situation. I don't know how to play anything but support. That was my fault, I will get out of that eventually. The situation I went into a game lobby, what happened then player 1 called adc, Then I called Support. Player 1 then said duo bot, then player 3 said support.

At this point from the way they responded i was 100% sure the person who called support after I did would auto lock so i thought to myself no im going to auto lock to get the lane I called. Which i thought was the right thing.. Then we went into game, and i was getting flamed on for going bottom lane expecting there to be a adc. After going to bot the adc and person who called support late went top, and roamed with them cause I did not want to be in a 2v1 lane as a support champ. then they proceeded to say i was intentionally throwing the game by doing so. So all in all, was i at the wrong, if so. How is it a person who calls adc, can call for two people? Please can someone explain please. Thank you.

Just auto-lock whatever you want in blind pick, that's the way it used to be before nerds started wanting to be esports in normals. Those people are subhumans and you shouldn't care about their feelings.

First of all, you really need to learn a different role, immediately. The chances of you always getting support are, maybe better than trying to rely on always getting a different role, but still not good.

I would honestly recommend top because it tends to be the less complicated. You can get a farm or split pushing top laner and just do that. You won't contribute to your team as much as other top laners, but it is the easiest for someone to learn.

As for the role calling, .. I would honestly say that you should have got the support role because you said it first, but when people call duo, they more than likely know each other, and those duo lanes are typically better.

So was it a scumbag move on their part? Yea, but welcome to the League of Scumbags Legends.

Basically, my best advice is to be flexible.

I've been where you are. Learning the game, only really comfortable with support, and having people circumvent my lane calls to the detriment of all. There's no perfect solution, but here are a few things you should take note of to avoid this in the future:

-Learn more roles. You clearly intend to, so that's a good start. Consider playing roles that your support pick(s) may already work in. For instance, Sona can function as a mid-laner, Nautilus can work top, etc. -Avoid Blind Pick in the future. This will only really work at level 30, so get there ASAP. Blind Pick is a mess, Draft is infinitely better. Of course, you'll need to know two roles by then, but I'm sure you can get there. -Avoid locking in Blind. Role calls are an unwritten rule of Blind, but they aren't strictly enforced, so ultimately whoever is the least courteous will get their role. Technically you did call support first, but if the other players were determined to take it, there isn't much you can do about it. Call a lane, hover your pick, but then avoid locking. This way, if somebody steals your role, you have the flexibility of going in a different direction. -Don't be afraid of dodging. I mean, don't do it too often, but once in a while, you can simply close the client to avoid starting a game. You'll get hit with a 5-minute penalty (compounded if you do it often), but that beats playing with trolls. If your teammates are comfortable stealing your role, then they may simply not be worth playing a game with.

Speaking of champion pool!

If you don't already have Alistar, Tristana, and Garen you can get them for free.

They advertise a free skin, but if you don't have the champion you get them as well.

All you have to do is subscribe/like/follow them on their social networking sites, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter respectively.

Unchained Alistar (you have to actually go to the link and subscribe instead of just watching the video) https://www.youtube.com/user/RiotGamesInc

Riot Girl Tristana https://www.facebook.com/leagueoflegends/app/208195102528120
