Riot support does not ban obvious botters. They just close the ticket and the bot continues to bot.

Riot only bans players using the automated system. No Rioter ever actually does anything beyond copy and paste repsonses.

Botter account name is XXXX. The Rioter who closed the ticket was XXXX. Support ticket has been closed since yesterday. The bot is botting as I type this.

The bots matches showing no items bought, and roughly 20 deaths per game, still joining games... lolking link removed

The response given by Riot Support...

Hello zSkeletoRz,

Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention. The use of scripts and third-party programs is against the Terms of Use, and is an offense worthy of suspension. The integrity of leveling up and playing games is very important to us, so these actions will not be tolerated.

We’ll be looking into this issue, and taking appropriate action once the investigation is done. Don’t hesitate to write back with any more evidence that may help us with this investigation. Let me know if you need anything else!

  1. Closing a ticket does not mean they won't take action. It just means your part of reporting the problem is considered done.

  2. Name and Shame is against the forum rules. Even if it's an obvious botter or something, you still need to remove the name from your post.

  3. As was said, bot/scripting bans happen in waves. That's to try and keep scripters from figuring out exactly how detection methods work. Would it be nice for faster bans? Definitely, but I also don't want scripters learning to better hide what they are doing.

They ban bots (and botted accounts) in waves, not one by one.

Did it ever occur to any of the previous posters that there could be any number of reasons not to ban one particular bot? Where there is one mouse, there are usually more. Same with scripters, bots, w/e you want to call them. Would you rather kill one mouse, or the whole mess of em? What is to say that the human behind the comp does not have 100 other bots doing the same thing at the same time? If rito went and banned them all individually, then little comes of it. If they ban the head behind the computer, only then do they actually get rid of a problem.

Not trying to defend rito, but sometimes one needs to step back and look at the bigger picture/problem.

I agree with you 100% i just posted a topic about bots, but most people on the forum don't think for themselves and try to deny it like 'you're just a noob you can't recognize a bot' yeah bullshit, I wouldn't care if it was just a new player, but if I see a bot script I am reporting it for sure. There are some very obvious signs these bots have in common and it doesn't take many games or watching them long to see it's definitely a bot.

Also, every time I suspect someone is a bot, I usually look at their match history, and it's usually 20+ games they ruined before they came into my game. Getting scores like 1/10/1 or 1/2/1 after a 30 minute co op vs AI game.. 20+ games in a row. When I see that after my initial suspicions I immediately report

lol even when someone is playing on the account they suck XD. But congrats on putting your account at risk, naming and shaming is a no go as well. Maybe you should read the rules you're trying to get riot to enforce.
