The truth about toxicity and the report system

The truth about toxicity is that Riot will never be able to completely remove it because the players that get perma banned multiple times just do not give a single fuck about being perma banned, and i've been there i got around 30 accounts perma ban but now i'm really trying to "control" myself and not get banned at all in season 8 xD When i was really toxic in game i would get a chat restrict in like 10 games or less and really did not give a single fuck about it and i would keep being toxic so because of that Riot can't completely remove it from the game but they can at least control it ( i hope so ). I also do not really like the new automated banning system, i'll tell you a little story of what players in group can abuse so i was in a normal game, not even ranked, my team was a group of 4 players together and i was the only one solo so what they did was basicaly int me whole game, i legit did not say anything bad other than telling enemy team that they were in a group and they were inting me, they kept saying in all chat that i was toxic, etc. I don't really care that players do this and int for what ever reasons but when i get a 10 chat games restrict because they all spam reports on me and they did not even get punished from my report on them, I think the automated system can be good when you say some words like kys, retard, autist, etc but please Riot do something because a lot of people get chat restricted because some players are abusing the report system. I know that if you get chat restricted it's not 100% the systems fault and that you've been toxic probably in other games and it happens to everyone, literally, but the reports like this shouldn't count and shouldn't ban you or chat restrict you.

IIRC, it only took around 20 or so for Tyler1 to get his ID ban.

Rito pls?

  1. Riot knows they can't completely get rid of toxicity in LoL or stop players from making new accounts. What they can do however is provide incentives to control ones behavior and/or reform while constantly punishing the ones that refuse to do so.
  2. It only takes 1 report to flag a game for review, and multiple reports don't change that, nor do they mean that a player will get auto-punished. False or inaccurate reports are thrown out.
  3. Punishments are handed out based on consistency and severity, meaning that if one consistently acts up in multiple games then they're more likely to be punished than one who only has the occasional slip-up here and there on an otherwise clean record. Of course people who resort to zero-tolerance behavior such as hate speech, racist comments and gameplay trolling get an escalated punishment (i.e. a 14-day ban first and not a chat restriction).
  4. If you'd like to discuss your punishment then please post your entire unedited chat logs.
