Why it's already mid 2019 and there is still no option to unbind my ENTER key? I don't want to chat, but can't help it, let me unbind this key. pls. btw putting chat scale to -100 removes what you can see but not what you can type.

If self-control is that difficult, perhaps this type of game isn't for you.

"sighs" Does anybody in this game have self restraint these days?

You can't unbind it, but you can assign it to another action. Its the same as your left click button. You should change your open-chat key to something random on your keyboard, preferably to the right(since you don't want to alter other key actions). Try to not remember your key. You can do this in the Hotkeys in the settings.

Use a software called autohotkey. It can rebind your enter key globally to something else (for example caps lock)

if you cant stop yourself from typing, use /note command whenever you want to type something thats toxic. Everything you type under that command will be only visible to you (it will look like you sent PM to yourself).

Example: /note GO FUCK YOURSELF DUMB LOW IQ DOG

If you have a mechanical or gaming keyboard, unbind it in your software. Logitech for example does per game profiles, so you can have league's enter key unbound just when you're in game. If you don't have one, buy one, you're missing out on so much!

Idk why. The best workaround I can think of is to buy a USB controller that doesn't read as keyboard inputs, but rather as different buttons (I believe that this should work, as my computer read them as entire different "keys"), go into the practice tool, and bind your enter key to one of those buttons. Put the controller somewhere inconvenient to get in the middle of a match - Preferably in a cabinet or something.

You're now unable to open chat. Enjoy.
