unban xj9, it's been over 5 years

XJ99999999999999·12/17/2018, 5:16:47 AM·11 votes·5,375 views

was banned on june 2013 due to death threat to a user on the forums. later in the years he "leaked" an ass/boob pic of a girl that you couldn't see her face on. not going into details on why, as people don't care about the reasons and see it as an excuse, but the guy was 17 years old and it's been 5 years. he hasnt done anything since, and when kids do things, they tend to reflect on them and change.

this video is great. it pretty much illustrates my point that people make mistakes, especially young kids. people are too busy enjoying kicking people, notably public figures, down into the mud instead of wanting everyone to do the best and be the best they can be.

Everyone else that has been ID banned has been unbanned, yet XJ9 hasn't, despite being the longest ID ban in existence. What xj9 did, is redeemable. He goes through a lot of cyber bullying to this day of people still bringing up things from 5 years ago, calling him crazy and all these mean names, instead of seeing the guy is a changed guy. People can't see he is a changed guy, due to not having a platform to say so on in which people care. He had his twitch + league taken away from him. If he had 1 or the other, he would be fine and able to dismiss a lot of these false "facts" about XJ9 and the type of person he is.

Everyone else that has been Id banned has had that chance to show themselves and has had help from others. XJ9 has no one to help him. It is sad that XJ9, despite passing a trial in 2015, was dismissed even though he showed all the signs he is fully capable of doing good.

XJ9 is 22 years old now, and events that happened in 2013 shouldn't reflect who he as a person and most importantly, who he is now. He did not rape, he did not kill, he isn't a %%%%%%%%%. He made mistakes just like everyone has done at least once in their lives. People shouldn't be pointing fingers with dirty hands, as I am sure they have done something as well. Saying you haven't don't something really bad once in your life is a lie, as humans, we are bound to make at least one mistake. It's important to learn from them and to encourage those who make mistakes to do better and how to fix them instead of blurting out foul words.

I hope you read this and re-consider XJ9. He was always a good sports in games, despite the fake news that he was toxic in game, which wasn't the case at all.

Have a good day.

"guy was 17 years "

When i was 17 years old I didn't do any of the immature stuff he did.

Hell when I was 13 years old I didnt.

XJ9 posted on the Boards about 3 years ago, and made it very clear he had no remorse for anything he'd done. When I consider that (and that part of what got him banned was illegal, not just breaking ToS), I have a very hard time believing he passed anything in 2015.

Tyler1 had to show through multiple other sites his reform from his behavior in the past.

XJ9 hasn't done anything of the sort.

Support 100%.

I believe that people can change, especially in such a huge amount of time such as 5 years. People do stupid things when they're a young, not thinking about the consequences of their actions or what not. XJ9 did some dumb things when he was a teen but who wouldn't at the age? i mean, he was young but was popular for his age - who wouldn't let that get to them? being constantly watched by everyone must not feel good. Also the fact that people such as Tyler1 get unbanned really shows how riot feels about this whole ID ban situation. if you aren't popular and have a huge following you can kiss your unban goodbye which is pretty sad. the difference between Tyler1 and XJ9 is that Tyler1 had a platform to fallback on and he could build a mass following of people that spammed the shit out of riot to unban him, to the point where it became a meme that riot couldn't ignore. but in XJ9's case he was banned from twitch along with his league ban so he had to stream on hitbox (a inferior site) - (at least thats what i think i remember) this obviously means less viewers, less following, less public influence in riots eyes.

all in all, i think he should be issued a unban - or even a trial of some sort. like i said people such as Tyler1 who was ACTUALLY toxic in game and on stream (also Tyler1 was 21/22 at the time so should actually know better at that age) get unbanned then why can't XJ9? is it because riot wanted to make a example out of him? Probably. scratch that, Definitely. thats all i have to say on this really because its just so obvious in my eyes that he deserves a chance.

btw, before the INEVITABLE comments of "XJ9 SMURF!!" no, im not. i made this acc to sell like i have done the past 4 accounts i've made. names with random letters/numbers sell better. never spoke to XJ9 before but do sympathise with him.

They’re not going to unban anyone’s account unless it was inappropriately banned.

If he has some sort of ban, it’d be his responsibility to request support to look into his account.

Joseph "XJ9" Sulenski was banned from League of Legends in August 2013 because he had been "incredibly abusive to players within [the] community, in one unfortunate case very explicit death threats were made against another user."

Yeah, I don't think someone who has the cognitive ability to play LoL on a high-elo basis should be able to play again. When I was 17 years old, I didn't give people death threats. Heck, I didn't even give death threats at 15 or 12 or even 5. Zero tolerance. I support Riot in their decision.

Some don't learn, a good example being the scam streamers who fake charity streams, get banned, they repeat until finally someone grows the balls to bring law enforcement into the matter,

Now regarding this guy, he was not a mature individual, hell the shit he did, I didn't even do during junior high or high school, that's because my parents let me learn from mistakes unless said mistakes could lead to life threatening/irreversible injury, this guy, has not made any move to show reform, tyler1 did better as he showed how he changed across the boards, well he's still not my favorite to watch, as his anger is quite unappealing, but to each their own.

Tyler1 was simply a jerk. He was at the extreme end of thing, sure, but, nothing that was outright illegal.

XJ9 made credible threats, doxxed, and other illegal actions using League.

Not really the same.

If DarkwinJax is being given a 3rd chance and AP0CALYPSE is still allowed to play the game, I think XJ9 deserves a second chance. What XJ9 did is nothing compared to those 2 guys.

good but toxic < bad but not toxic

That's how riot see's it that's why this game is going into the ground :D

(The community doesn't understand tho that's why everyone who's defending him is getting down voted) proof of ^ https://gyazo.com/84ac1959d473560f40f26ff619613d03

darn looks like u can only get unbanned if you are a streamer like tyler1 so you can be a funny guy and have that be the reason you get unbanned.

"hes toxic, but hes funny so unban him"

damn guys. you guys are hating on someone you have never seen/seen for over 5 years and judge over a video of him trolling. damn. i wonder how much anger you must have to wait on a 16-17 year old kids actions and never forgive him meanwhile play a game where the COO molests people in the work place and only gets a 2 month suspension out of work and not even a demotion.

Quarrels are to be avoided by patience and forgiveness, for responding to hatred by further hatred only maintains the cycle of vengeance and retaliation.

Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh is still dealing with stuff he (allegedly) did 30+ years ago.

XJ9 can wait a few decades and then see if he'll get his ID Ban lifted.

No one is entitled to have their past erased or forgotten. Men, women, adults, children, republicans, democrats, atheists, religionists - people need to sleep in the beds they make. This is a lesson everyone needs to learn.

XJ9 will likely not be unbanned, especially since we don't care much for bots.

Telephone Booth12/17/2018, 11:54:36 PM1 votes

Lol. Just a long ass thread talking about some random ass kid. Dont care. Permabans are permanent, make a new account. People who judge him for his mistakes are shallow simple minded people. But rules are rules and consequences are consequences. Im sure hes a decent person, but so are many permabanned players. Its not about morality, its about following the rules set in place.

Stop talking in third person XJ9.

Infernape12/17/2018, 11:30:11 AM1 votes

I do believe Riot check on people that are ID banned every year. If they find that they're still exhibiting that behaviour, they keep them banned, if not they unban them (like Tyler1).
