I feel this community is becoming fake as f*** (rant)

Here's the thing, with the recent changes i just feel sometimes people are becoming so damn fake that it's even tilting to see them write something in the chat, they are so extremely friendly even in the crappiest scenarios, it's disgusting. Now hear me out, i'm not trying to be some sort of super evil doctor here trying to spread chaos across the world, but sincerely i think people go too damn far with this "acceptable behavior" just for honors and fear of being punished.

There's a difference between being honest with yourself and saying whats on your mind, and sounding like a serial killer, i believe the first one should be accepted in the conduct rules, even if you swear sometimes, it should be... Because if i say "ffs why did you do that?" i'm expressing how i feel, showing a little frustration and being straight forward with what i think, NOW if i say something like "i'm gonna kidnap your whole family and throw them into a pool full of acid" THERE i'm being toxic and very offensive.

But these days people call you toxic just for saying things like "fuck man can you stop stealing my farming?" and then you see a bunch of comments following up such as: "chill it's just a game" "dude you have to relax really, maybe he didn't mean to" "maybe hes lagging dude chill" and just reading that is tilting to me, because to begin with i was just asking the other person to stop stealing my farm, but apparently words like fuck, and shit are forbidden in this community, lets be honest here, to the rioters.. how many times you say "fuck" a day? i think a lot and nobody is innocent here, i think those "clean boys" that write all that crap after they see a "fuck" in the chat, are the first salty ones when shit happens to them, and they act all nice like in a defensive mode, happy that this time is not them and they can pretend to be an example to follow in life.

Anyhow, all this shit came from a match that i just had, with a troll off meta pick as a support (not gonna say the summoner name, because im a fucking man), stealing farm, failing to peel, over extending the lane and pushing the minions in zombie mode.. As soon as i said something about it, which i recall was something like "dude can you hit at least 1 damn Q and at least cc the enemy?" holly molly, the amount of harassment i got in that match was over 9000, they took it into the /all chat of course, like always, just to get some psychological support from the enemy team (remember kids, the first one to get the drama into the /all chat, is the one who gets the verbal support) and then before i noticed i had BOTH my team and the enemy team thinking that i was being an asshole to the "poor innocent support" when he was the one trolling my lane, and of course the guy started to act all nice just to make me look even worst.

So think twice please where you are taking this community riot, this game is becoming less of a game over time, to be more an scheduled choreography dance where you are not allowed to say what you think without a bunch of boy scouts following behind to call you toxic.

Thanks for your time!

how many times you say "fuck" a day?

Zero. Same answer for how many times I say it a week, a month, and a year. I fully realize that I'm the oddball for never swearing though.

From what Riot's said, swearing itself isn't a problem, so long as it's not directed at other players. "What the **** were you thinking?" and "You ****ing idiot" are supposedly treated very differently.

Some people do blow things out of proportion way too quickly though. I had a game where I was complementing my Support for setting up a play or saving me, and they though I was mocking them. (If I recall right some of our teammates were harassing him that game) Fortunately he said something that made me realize he took it different than I intended, so I was able to correct him and ease his tensions a bit for the rest of the game, but it was still a bad situation to be in. I was lucky I had some time to type it out and he hinted how he was taking it, but it's not too hard to imagine him inting or AFKing over that instead.

What do you expect the answer to "why did you do that" to be. It isn't helpful or constructive. It's a tense game, keep your outrage to yourself.

I play this game to have fun. It's not fun to see people screaming "what they feel" at me.

Just like how if you go into a supermarket screaming about abortion or something, you're just screaming what you feel but you'll still be asked to leave.

I'd actually heavily reccomend watching one of George Carlin's comedy specials, as he sorta did a thing about this generation that opened my eyes on the whole issue (I was 12 when I saw the first one, and it sorta made me a social outcast at the time as I was one of the few people who knew "why" the rest of my generation was acting like complete f'cking idiots). I'll do my best to sum it up though:

Back in the 90s, the parents of the 90s generation sorta had enough and decided to teach their kids the opposite values of the ones they learned off their parents (namely that everyone is "special", that even if you don't put in hard work you should still get rewarded, and more importantly that it's OK to fail). Because of this, like 85% of the current generation grew up unable to understand how to actually act like an adult and in the case of a bunch of them unable to grasp what true maturity actually is. Shift it over to here, and it's much the same. While you can go ahead and blame them and tell them to stop doing what they're doing, their core beliefs are kinda already ingrained into them so deep to the point in which there is often little net reward for doing so.

Op is the sort of passive aggressive type that wants to feel like they're taking the high road while actually acting like a douche.

"dude can you hit at least 1 damn Q and at least cc the enemy?"

What does this accomplish? Seriously? Do you think he was trying to miss? Do you think he gets his jollies off of not hitting skillshots?

No, the statement is to make yourself feel superior and to make him feel like crap. Plain and simple. I hope he reported you for it.

A- People don't take criticism well, don't expect players to in middle of a game

B- I have no interest in teaching players i'll never see again.

C- Just play, if I roll an unwinnable game, I finish it out while looking towards the next one.

D- I don't care if random teammates are being "fake nice". I won't know them long enough for it to matter

I sort of agree with this guy.

I took an online class a while back where for participation points you had to reply positively to two other people's posts. so after every single post everyone was responding 'oh what a clever idea! I never thought of it that way before' and other complete bullshit. I tried to do it a couple of times but being so fake just made me sick. eventually I said fuck the participation points and ignored everyones posts.

that's the kind of thing lol is turning into. personally I prefer everyone being assholes to each other. that gave me a few laughs at least. but I guess it was upsetting to a lot of people for some reason. so whatever

People being NICE tilts you? Seriously? Do what I do. Mute everyone. Every game. Then you don't have to see it. There's nothing teamwork-related that can't be communicated using pings. ALMOST nothing. You might occasionally need to ask to swap lanes. That's the only thing I can think of that there isn't a ping for. The chat is almost entirely unnecessary anyway.

It's the way you are saying it. When you word what you want to say in a rude way people can see it as toxic. Ppl can't see your face or hear the tone of your voice so you have to word everything as friendly as possible or it could be interpreted as toxic.
