I feel like this game is terrible for ones mental health. It is a fun game that can be slightly addicting, yet the community has to be the worst in any game I have ever played. You just get these super toxic people who have no idea what they are doing. I am gold iii on an alt account and i create a new account to duo with a friend who is getting back into league. First game in my provisionals some guy trolls and decides to Soraka Jungle, K, quick 18 minute loss. Next game up against a panth+rengar bot lane. Easy right? Well top lane (teemo) loses to Yi top lane so mid flames and they both rage afk type at each other. OK...next game..velkoz jungle, yas support, with malphite adc..(dodged). Reque user 1 wants to be mid, but user 2 denies that request. So user 1 bans his champ and picks adc and runs mid all game. Did not dodge because I already dodged once. I mean even on my main account it is the same type of shit. It seems like Gold and below is a bunch of little ragey pre-teens and RIOT DOES NOTHING! But let me drop an F bomb to tell the two ragey kids to Shut the F$%^ up i get slapped with a 10 chat ban, not to mention those who "soft feed" get no penalties. "its hard to tell if someone is feeding." Multi Million dollar company, create a division that investigates inting reports that requires watching video and identifying play patterns. its not hard. I think I am going on another 4 month break from this game. Gives me headaches.

P.S. before people dismiss my claims due to my username, it is supposed to be facetious as I do not flame at all.

If the state of the game upsets you that much, then maybe taking a break might be the best course of action for the time being.

If your teammates are hardcore raging at one another & you see no way to diffuse the situation peacefully (telling them to "shut the F$%^ up" will just make things worse), then you'll just have to mute them & power on through the game.

As a support main who grinded to Gold, I have had plenty of games with Teammates such as the ones you described. One way I try to keep the game together is by raising morale on the team (Teammate makes a play & get's a double, Compliment the shit out of them). If your teammates have a good mindset, they'll play good & you'll win alot more (trust me).

So, you want Riot to create an entire division to investigate punishment cases?

You remember this thing called the Tribunal? Lets be generous and say thousands of players participated in this. It got backlogged by months. Now lets add in the lowest cost for just 1k employees to do this. Federal minimum wage in the US is $7.25. Assume 40 hour work week

1000 × 40 = 40,000 40,000 × 7.25 = 290,000 week 52 weeks in a year; 52 × 290,000 = 15,080,000 a year

15,080 per person per year. Even assuming they went 30k salary per person and got 50 hours of work out of a person. That would still be 30m a year.

The people in this community are so wrapped up in themselves that they dont see thier teammates unless they want someone to throw under the bus. They spend more time talking about how "gold/diamond" they are than actually playing. They dont want to help players (as I have seen on other low-level accounts) these people are so full on themselves they will flame degrade and insult players for "first time"ing a champion. Got a champ you never played before? ok. Go 0/3...0/6 on new champ you know NOTHING ABOUT? Well time to label you an Inter, spread it through the community and make sure everyone is blindly against you right from the start.

Everyone thinks they are "gods gift to league", and people say "just mute all" and yet when you DO mute all, you get "Report X for not communicating with thier team" Oh and lets not forget the "I wont flame" flamers. "Dont mute me, I wont flame you" and yet the moment they think they are muted they will throw every offensive name, every zero tolerance trigger word at you just to make sure you know that they wont flame you. Sometimes they even store it all up so that they can unload on you in the post-game lobby. Yeah I actively advice people away from league, and when this game finally dies I can move on to something else. A great game, but the communities sense of "better than thou" is what makes this game too toxic and hateful to reccommend. Good luck bragging how "Trash" your team is when you cant find a team, and the teams you DO find want NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU!.

Best solution sadly is to play customs with your friends OR play bots with other people. Have fun doing weird and awesome things! PvP is for unlocking champion mastery only ^w^

the problem with the game is ppl care too much about words than actually playing. like i could tell someone he needs to learn his place cuz hes like 0/5 and then i get a report because hes fucking trash makes no sense. how bout instead of punishing the ppl with skill who talk like adults.... mayb ejust ban all the feeding pieces of shit. like this is the internet if you cant deal with some smack talk wtf are you doing with ur life. thats what the internet was made for

  1. The worst gaming community was, is, and probably will be for awhile, the CoD community. NEVER IN MY LIFE have I heard so many ragey 10 year olds with mics screaming til my ears bled about absolute nonsense.

  2. If you don't flame at all, your word choice of telling people to stfu when their argument doesn't involve you, then getting upset over getting bit in the ass for sticking your ass where it didn't belong, sort of fits the bill. Not that I'm one to talk, but at least I will admit that if I'm in chat fighting my team, they've more than likely earned it, and I probably wont feel bad.

  3. It IS hard to tell inting from having a really bad game in some situations...like my most recent, super embarrassing Fizz game where I thought I could fight Akali and ended up spending more time dead than alive. Not from inting, but from getting pretty much constantly destroyed by this guy and his jungler at every point of the game. Fizz is not fun to play when shut down. But I will admit that it certainly LOOKS like I was trying to feed...that's probably one of my worst games and highest death counts since I was a literal noob.

  4. Meta-breaking is not an instant loss, and people who get instantly tilted when they see someone else pick an off-meta champ for their role are imo incapable of handling competitive play, because they're too busy being unaccepting of their team comp to play their own game properly.

i know the feeling. i cant play on my this account because its gold 4. i feel like riot has made it waaaaay to easy for the casual player to get into gold and all they fucking do is troll. shit i saw sneaky play on a bronze 4 Korean account because NA was down and everyone was trying so hard to win. no trolling and standard picks. and they played good! im getting extremely pissed at the lack of competitiveness in NA. it just riots fault for promoting trolling with "is it meta?" and 4fun region. we realy just need to follow Korea at this point and turn into a 2win region. but thats in riots court we cant do it.
