Toxicity in low ELO

I just started playing ranked after only playing normals for the whole season, so I started my placement matches and after a few games I noticed one thing: There wasn't a single game where someone didn't get called a piece of fecal matter or got a suggestion to go to bed with themselves (not to mention the stuff I learned about some players' mothers...). So I would like to ask all of you to stop being toxic and, you know, express yourself without using such... colourful words. It really destroys that player's morale and demotivates them and thus said player no longer plays to win and you may make then quit league all together, which is one a good thing (it also makes you look like a terrible person).

Trust me on this, it's not just low elo. You can see it at any part of the ladder, starting from bronze 5 all the way to challenger. Besides, your words are falling on deaf ears when you're preaching to the choir. I'm pretty sure anyone with half a brain would agree that they might enjoy a little less flame in their games, but just telling players to stop being toxic is much like yelling into a void about how you wished people would stop drunk driving. We all want players to stop being toxic buddy, but I think we need to be a bit more serious than this about toxicity.
