Ban for 3 Monitor Setup

I was just wondering if you can get banned for using a 3 monitor setup and spanning the game across all 3 monitors which allows you to see more of the map? The only way I could see to actually span the game across three screens involved changing the game file and I have heard that is a bannable offense. I would love to try playing across my multi screen setup but do not want to risk a ban which I think would be unfair since i spent my hard earned money to build the system I have.

If you are modifying the game file so that you can increase your vision then yes it is a bannable offense.

Yes, people have been punished with dual / triple monitors and using it to increase map vision, as it does give a game play advantage.

I think Riot has since patched their game so that you can't use a dual / triple monitor to see more of the map anymore.

Modifying the client is bannable. I'd just not risk it if you send a ticket in they're usually pretty good about answering those kinds of questions.

I think its bannable if it gives extra vision but i edited my config file to remove chat box(really just makes it super small) and I haven't gotten banned yet. I would send in a support ticket to ask them usually they'll tell you if its bannable or not. I just use my two other monitors with obs to display the minimap in one full screen and the other as a browser for op.gg and different kinds of builds.

But you never can be too careful, but i doubt unless you are getting an advantage to see more of the map around your character its okay. They dont let any player zoom out so its an unfair gameplay advantage if you do it in a way that lets you see more.

Any alteration is purely "use at your own risk" and most modifications to the client aren't accepted.

Minimizing a chat box isn't providing a gameplay advantage... you can do that in game or move it to almost the same effect without changing anything.

RIOT has made it clear though "any modifications or 3rd party program that provide ANY advantage will be addressed".

If you get increased vision from it, then it is an unfair advantage I guess. They probably won't allow it, especially if you have to change game files. You could argue that anyone could do it, but that's why I say the part about altering game files, because anyone can also go download some scripting programs. So I think changing game files is kind of the nail in the coffin, as far as it not being allowed.

This is BS, if we have paid for the hardware we should be allowed to freakin use it. I hate games that do this. "oh sorry, you aren't actually allowed to use your computer to extent you built it to do.

Altering any file for any reason can result in a ban, if you want an exception submit a support ticket.
