Reporting a toxic player

I am curious if this is really in play the reporting of a toxic player or not. I have come across

players who are swearing, yelling at teammates, talking about your mother and being racist

and everything in between. I do complete the reports and I have gone to writing down a

players name because I have ran across them again either near future or some time down the

road and they act the same. Which makes wonder if the reports go through or not. Like

feeding. You get 20 deaths and 2 kills and you wont stop or listen to the team. I haven't seen

as many toxic players and feeders and afk in this game as much as this current season. So I

report them and sometimes the team does and most say not worth it riot wont fix it. Does t

work or not. Has the game become a toxic zone for the cyber bullies? This is pure harassment

by these players and it cost games in rank and other modes. I have been so frustrated as of

late with this I have lost patience with them. What is the solution beside 1-not playing a game I

enjoy and invested in or 2 muting them which yes gets you thru the game but stills doesn't

take them out. And you most likely lost because people want to move on to another game

and had enough. Does this behavior system work? And what makes it work?

It takes many, many games to get punished, not just one or ten. Also, you don't need to write down their names, the client has a block feature. Just click on the "block list" in the friends tab, enter the name into the box, press the plus button. You can also block people after a game next to the player's name.

Amount of reports on a single occurrence has a finger in it as well. I used to contribute to Tribunal and maybe 8 times out of 10 the report I was moderating had 4+ complaints.

My suggestion to you is as follows.

If you are truly dedicated to bringing judgment on these toxic players, take some screen shots with timestamps etc., and put it up in the player behavior section. (this is just what I would do, if I cared anymore)

Report where you think its warranted. I believe they (Riot) have implemented a notification that tells you if your report on someone contributed to the punishment, or something along those lines, but I'm not positive.

Just keep on truckin' dude/dudet, the community in LoL fluctuates from ridiculously toxic EGOragers (ELO(ranked) tryhards), to on the edge of role playing Lawful Good, niceness.

XeraDza is the most racist/toxic human being i've ever had the pain to talk to in my life. After he called me cancer and wished me to die he then proceeded calling me a "%%%" because in his mind i fed the enemy team(my score was 7/7/7 and i think thats preaty good seen as i have being playing for a week.I dont know if i will continue playing League of Legends hoping that i wont encounter anyone like that ever again but I have to say that I've never encountered such foul language in a game chat before...
