I have been Playing on this account for over 5 years now and have never done anything to violate the TOS outside of a chat suspension 3 years ago. ~~I just recently Downloaded OVERWOLF and use the REPLAY HUD to rewatch my deaths and improve at the game. I played one game today as ZED MID launched the app while loading and then launched REPLAY HUD DURING THE GAME. ~~I play my next game and at the end of it I get a message that my account is permanently suspended. I received the following email on the matter:

Hello Summoner,

Your account: xxforeverfreexx was banned due to the use of malicious 3rd party programs or modifications to your League of Legends client. We believe that all players should play on equal footing in an effort to promote competitive sportsmanship. You should be aware that modifying your League of Legends client is against the Terms of Use: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/legal/termsofuse. We hope you can see that it is unsatisfying to play against other players who are using a tool to gain an advantage over others.

If you wish to dispute the actions taken against your account, you may contact us via this link: http://support.riotgames.com Please look into this as I would never do anything to break the TOS or the Summoner's code as I love this game and have almost 4000 hours of logged game time.

EDIT: I received the following email after asking why I got a copy paste response telling me it was for "malicious 3rd party programs".

"Hi there,

This account was suspended permanently for benefiting from the use of exploits. This was not a result of Overlays." The only thing I could think of was playing garen in URF His e could be activated more than once if you did it fast enough. I didn't know it was an exploit doing more than normal damage and popular streamers and players like pantsaredragon and nightblue played garen during urf and streamed or made videos on it and ARE NOT BANNED YET.

EDIT #2: MY PBE account that I have played on almost everyday with some friends over the past month is still in good standing leading me to believe it was an automated FALSE POSITIVE on the normal client or the PBE account would be suspended as well.

EDIT #3: 2 tickets opened to support and both of them told me to "F*** off" saying "We will not disclose any information or evidence on this ban" Why Is this?????

EDIT #4: It has been 7 months and extensive emailing regarding my account. I asked if it was because of a macro I had assigned via razer synapse and was told "no ." After many more emails I was told the software in question leading to the ban was "Razer Synapse." According to the ToS and End User Agreement, their official stance on macros is that so long as it does not "automate game play" it is allowed. I asked how a macro would violate those terms and they told me the "will not discuss this manner any further."

TL:DR Banned for "3rd party programs" when I asked how or why I was told it was for "exploiting not 3rd party programs" and then support told me they will not release and evidence as it might hurt future investigations.

Bans like these come in waves, not for something you did a day or two ago. I've been around for about 6 1/2 years now and in every single wave of bans people flood the respective board/forum for this sort of thing with the same story about how they didn't use any scripts and then it turns out they paid for boosting services and the person boosting used scripts.

I've only seen one of these bans overturned and that was because the person in question was demonstrably not in control of the account when the scripting occurred, EG. they were hacked.

That is why nobody believes you, because the system used to find and remove players using scripts has been shown to be 100% effective and every case except the one has been shown to be a case of boosting or account sharing. So what I'm saying is: The only time Riot didn't stonewall somebody accused of scripting like they are doing to you and others they took full responsibility for the ban, which turned out only to be in place to protect the account from further harm by the hacker. With Riot's track record, I'm not inclined to believe you over them, and posting here isn't going to help you. If you have a legitimate case against your suspension then work with player support, its your only viable option.

I really wish you good luck. I hope Riot fixes/addresses possible bugs in their ban system. [zombie-nunu-bummed]

You have my upvote to get this resolved. Let me just point out that Sneaky, Meteos, and Hai will use the same Replay HUD application on Overwolf on stream, so there is no way that this could be malicious and bannable.

same thing happened a while back with camera tools (that have 3rd/1st person camera or zoom hacks to zoom out or rotate the camera) that "popular" streamers like "Uberdanger" have youtube vids out showing them using them with no bans while the community was sent a round of warning or perma bans depending on where your account stood.

I'm pretty sure Replay HUD isn't flagged as an illegal program, the people over at C9 paired up with Overwolf to develop the app. There is only 2 options here:

  1. You're lying and you used scripts/hacks who knows how long ago, and you just got flagged now.
  2. It was a missflag.

I'm honestly more inclined to believe the first, but I dunno, you could be telling the truth.

Yeah your banned for life the only way to get that account back is to work for riot. I had the same issue never got resolved. They assumed it was cheats as well

Same problem here, looks like there isn't much I can do either, I believe there is an issue with their system giving false positives or something of that nature, the biggest issue is that noone is going to believe me and I can't blame them for that. They think that they KNOW I'm a liar, but in reality I'm telling the truth. And this is after having a flawless record other than the warning email for using mklol in the past, which I of course stopped using. (you don't believe me I get the point) And to claim that the system is flawless and there never has been a false positive is ridiculous.
